Previous years have been such a struggle to keep the water balanced and algae free. The copper solar ionizer has been a game changer. The only chemicals I have used this season is on gallon of algaecide when opening and a trickle of chlorine (about 10% of the normal amount).The water quality is much more enjoyable and there has not been a hint of algae. This picture is over two months after opening the pool for the season. Even if I have to replace the device every year, it’s cheaper than all the chemicals and a much better pool experience.

I have had the Ionizer for about one month now and my pool looks terrific. I was having an algae problem and I couldn’t “beat it”. Just when I thought I had a handle on it, it would show up again. I happened to see an advertisement for this product and decided to dig into it further to see what it was all about. After some research and reading customer reviews, I decided to give it a try. As soon as I received it, I did a thorough cleaning of my pool, as per your instructions. I then put the Ionizer in the pool and lo and behold, no more algae. I haven’t even had to add algaecide (which I did weekly) since I started using the Ionizer. One bonus for me is I am in sunny Florida so I get a lot of sun to keep the Ionizer working. So far I am thoroughly satisfied with your product and am looking forward to more maintenance free days. This will pay for itself quickly as I no longer have to buy shock or an algaecide. Our chlorine producing cell died recently. I was faced with “do I spend another $1000 on a new unit that would last maybe four years here in SW Florida?” Or do I try a less expensive proven technology to purify our pool? I went with the latter decision by purchasing the No More Green Copper ionizer. I’ve had the ionizer in our 13k gallon in ground sports pool for two weeks and just cleaned it for the first time. At first, we were unsure that the unit was working because the water “felt different”, certainly a non scientific observation, but it did. The water has no odor to it now and is CRYSTAL CLEAR. Not swimming in chlorine now made a huge difference to us on many levels. I have eliminated the in line chlorine generator and will just shock the pool maybe once a month (if that) with a Cl hockey puck. I highly recommend this unit for anyone who wants to save $$$$$$$$, spend less time tweaking chlorine levels, and swim in pure, natural, water. You’ll be amazed.

I waited to review this because I wanted to give it time to work so I could give an honest review. The pool water tested perfect after one week of use when we started all levels were just a little off kilter but not much. Day one my drain was clouded by the water after a few days you could notice a difference and after one week it was great!Note to new users...after day 4ish clean the copper tube and basket outs was green! USE GLOVES when cleaning the copper tube or you will smell that all day! Smell of copper permeated my hands all day.My only complaint is user issue. Did not follow instructions on how to get free container of basket and spring cleaner so missed out on that deal. Then hubby went and ordered it before looking through the packaging where there was a half off coupon, foiled again!I will mention this to the company when submitting my review and see how sympathetic they are lol!Durability - I can't attest to durability except don't just expect to toss it in the pool, place it gently or the buddy band will pop off.FYI inground pool 33000 gallons.

I have had the expensive inline plumbing copper and silver Ionizer for years. That company no longer does house calls and I am not about to spend $500-$1000 to have a plumber install a $200 set of anodes. Thank God I found this! I was skeptical, but read another review where a pool owner had replaced their expensive Ionizer with this floating solar model.I had a terrible algae bloom, and after $600 in chemicals and 2 weeks of continuously running my filtration system, I was ready to call it quits. However, my late husband installed this pool for me, and I was not willing to let his labor of love go. So, I drained the pool and started from scratch.I ordered a good Robotic vacuum and this Ionizer to help me have a less stressful swimming season. Like I said, I was skeptical about the Ionizer...not anymore! After refilling my pool, my pump basket gasket tore. So here I am in the middle of 2 wooded acres--and no filtration. I figured what the heck, threw the Ionizer in and let the vacuum keep the water moving. The gasket for the pump finally came in 1 week later, and my 30 foot round 52 inch high pool is crystal clear and algae free--1 whole week without filtration!Thankfully, the filter is going again. This is gonna be a great swim season, and my late husband's labor of love lives on ❤️ Buy this. You won't regret it! Chemical free swimming has never been so easy and affordable!
