After a few business trips to Turkey I began to have an affinity for Turkish coffee. During my last trip I checked out some coffee pots in the usual places but thought that the ones I saw were mostly tourist quality. Attractive, but not well made, so I returned home empty handed.The price was attractive and reviews good, so I thought I'd try what I found on Amazon. This Demmex pot is quite well built and a little heavier than I was expecting- a real plus. The heavy copper construction quickly conducts heat to the coffee, even when using the cold filtered water from my refrigerator door. The tin lining seems to be relatively thick as well and is doing its job to keep the coffee clean and free from any metallic taste- just like the tin plating in food cans.I have made many pots of Turkish coffee with great results. The copper is beginning to take on a little color patina but is not particularly oxidizing. The tin inner lining cleans easily and looks like brand new. Very happy with the purchase.

Love, love, LOVE it. Super cute, solid and just the right size for me. Really like that the handle is angled more down because it allows me to hold without being directly above the heat source. As for the craftsmanship, the engraving is beautiful. Would have given it a five star however the antique copper tone did not go all the way to the rim on one side and I’m not a fan of the way the handle is attached. It’s not screws but rivets of some sort and extremely sharp. Use caution when hand washing! My right pinky knuckle paid the price.

I've always enjoyed Greek and Turkish coffee, but until now didn't think I needed an ibrik at home to add to my coffee brewing collection. I'm so happy with it though! It's an elegant way to prepare coffee at home, exactly the way you like it. It was just a little too full (right up to the neck, which is the 8 fl. oz line if you only add water) with 18g finally ground coffee, 180g water, 1 tsp sugar and 1 cardamom pod for two people, but keeping the heat at medium prevented any spillover. The flavor was delicious! We'll try 14g & 140g next time to play it safe. There are a few barely noticeable cosmetic imperfections, reminding you that it's handmade. The wooden handle has a slight aroma that reminds me of incense before you burn it - I don't know if it's the wood or the varnish? I'm often sensitive to smells but it's only noticeable if I have it near my nose, and I think it's a nice touch.

It is important to me that my coffee be well prepared, in sufficient quantity, and be hassle free. This cezve coffee pot satisfies all these requirements. It heats quickly and allows me to prepare coffee just right. The cups, saucers and tray are separate. Everybody admires the workmanship and engraving. It looks like it will last a long time.

I have long dreamed of buying a copper cezve. I searched on different sites, but I found handmade work and the price/quality ratio here. The goods were delivered in the shortest possible time, well packed. Along with the goods were sent: instructions for use, a wooden spoon, a bag of delicious Turkish coffee. We use the cezve regularly and are very happy. We recommend it!

This product is too suspicious to be trusted.Does not sound like copper. Two well delimited tones of copper color on a same piece.Thickness is also at doubt.I don't trust this product, I have asked for a return and refund.
