SIRIUSHAIR LTD manufactured compatible replacement thermal fuse for the GHD brand of hair straighteners. This is a 229˚C United Kingdom CE certified direct replacement component in a ceramic casing with USA designed heat resistant composite. This is not to be confused with other aftermarket fuses for the GHD which are rated at 240˚C. Original GHD were fitted with a 216˚C fuse. This fuse is rated at 229˚C so will activate if the hair straightener overheats past this temperature preventing damage to the GHD and also your hair if in use. If a 240 degree fuse is used and the hair straightener overheats, the damage to the GHD and your hair will be dramatic and irreparable. On early versions of the 3.1B and 4.0B the plastic backing plate fuse aperture may need to be widened by using a craft knife. This does not affect the operation of the GHD but allows the new fuse to be accommodated correctly within the GHD. Siriushair the brand name for GHD spares and repairs. Excellent replacement for common GHD problem
Replacement for my daughter's GHD hair straighteners. Plenty of YouTube videos to show how to replace. Very straight forward and a heck of a lot cheaper than a replacement hair straighteners

Easy to change fuse
This fuse worked perfectly on GHD straighteners which had no power changed fuse in about 20 minutes just followed YouTube instructions fiddly but relatively easy 4.90 pounds what a saving on buying new GHDs
