On-the-go shine remedy
Does the job & keeps the shine away! This fits in the palm of your hand, so it doesn’t take up much room and is easy to just throw in your bag…perfect for on the go! It’s super easy to use, simply twist the cap, roll it on your skin and you’re all set, the clay absorbs the oil on your face.I feel like it was a bit pricey for what feels like a travel size but I’ll have to see how long it lasts, that will be the true test. For now, it’s a great on-the-go, non-make-up remedy to help with shine!

Works great and perfect for on the go!
This little oil absorber roller is great! I threw it in the console of my car to easily use throughout my day and love how easy and convenient it is. It really does work great for absorbing extra oils and is so easy to use with the roll design. It does darken the roller a bit but I've used it daily for a few weeks now and it still works great. It leaves my skin feeling soft and dry but no weird chalky residue or anything which I appreciate. It's the perfect thing to throw in your car or bag!

Leaves behind a residue and also remove some of my make up!
I really wanted to like this product, but it didn’t quite work as well for me. First off, I have combination skin, and I get oily throughout the day. I usually touch up with powder, but sometimes I feel like it can make you look cakey the more that you use it throughout the day and it also dries me out a bit. I was interested in something like this because I’ve seen similar products. Performed pretty well for people. The first issue that I have is that there’s definitely transfer from the roller ball. It leaves a sort of tent behind, which interferes with my make up. It also definitely removes some of my make up, so I’m not a fan of that. I was under the impression that it wouldn’t interfere with your make up, so I found that disappointing. I also think that it’s pretty pricey for what it is especially considering that you’re supposed to replace it every three months. If it worked flawlessly, I would have no problem paying that price, but I can’t justify it given that I don’t really love how it performs. It does help to reduce shine, but it looks patchy and leaves residue. So, again it doesn’t really work when I hoped that it would.

Works best without makeup
I have a combination skin type with an oily T-zone and I’m always on the lookout for products that combat shine and oiliness. This Peace Out oil control roller consists of a sphere of halloysite clay in an egg shaped packaging. Inside, the ball is sitting on a plastic tray that allows it to roll when the ball is pressed and dragged against the skin. If you have ever used a roll-on deodorant, this oil control roller uses the same mechanism. The clay ball rolls smoothly against my skin. At first it didn’t roll smoothly but I took it apart and put it back together, and now it works fine. The hardest area to apply is around the nose because the roller is too big for those more difficult to reach spots. The clay gets darker when it absorbs oil from the skin. It is recommended to replace this product every three months.According to the instructions, this product can be used with or without makeup. However, I find that I can only use it without makeup and here’s why. With makeup the clay ball not only picked up the oils made by my skin but also the oils from the makeup itself. I only used it gently in one spot and the clay ball immediately got dark and dirty in the spot that touched the skin. I can’t imagine it would last long if I was to roll it on makeup daily. The good news is that it works very nicely without makeup. It instantly removes shine and oiliness. I gave my roller to my athlete teen daughter and she’s using it after practice and workouts. She likes how it instantly makes her skin look matte and she likes how small and portable it is.

Works as intended, a little bit drying
This works as advertised, and is an interesting design for a common skin struggle. It definitely mattified my face without makeup really well. My only two complaints are, it's a little bit hard to get into the nooks and crannies like next to your nose with the large bulb, and it did end up being a little bit drying. I think I will only be able to use this in the summer, while I still get oily in the winter my skin is a lot more vulnerable to feeling too dried out.

Need for Oily Girlies
I can have an oily T-zone. This thing is so helpful! I usually try to ignore it, but sometimes you really just can't. Especially when pictures are involved. I'm obsessed with this thing.

Fascinating
This thing is so interesting! I really didn't know exactly what to expect and it's pretty cool. So it is a solid clay that rolls around when you apply it. It definitely does a really nice job of mattifying and somehow making shininess or oil instantly disappear. Because it is so wide it is a little bit tricky to get in smaller crevices like the little nook around your nostrils, but you can just go nearby and rub the product around manually with your finger. This seemed to work just fine for me.

Works!
Okay, this is pretty good stuff. I wasn’t expecting much. I tried without any makeup, so the picture before and after without makeup.I haven’t worn makeup this week (sick) but I usually wear it daily. So I will add pictures soon of how it lays on top of makeup. Wondering if it will pick up foundation.Without makeup though, it blurs your skin and minimizes pores. Definitely 100% picks up oil (I have combination skin-oily cheeks, nose, chin and dry forehead in my case.)First two pics (clarifying for people reading this later as I will add more pics over time) were taken in the same place and lighting, two minutes apart. This would be a good unisex product as well. I will be giving his to my son after I try it out.
