My and daughters love tomato paste in a tube. I saw it in Italy in 1975. What took it so long to get here in the US?

These are delicious I use bottled pasta sauce as we most do there lacking some flavor add some of this and it turns average sauce into a delicious tomato flavor gives backbone to grocery store sauce thx !

An excellent product. Best way to use just the amount of tomato paste you need. It's always seemed to me to be a tremendous waste to open a can of tomato paste and then only use a small part of it. With the tube you waste nothing. However, be certain to use an opened tube within 15 days or less, and, of course, be sure to refrigerate it.

This is a better alternative to the canned tomato paste. I usually placed an partially used can of Tomato Paste in the trash, but the paste in a tube can be safely stored. There is a shelf life to the unused portion, but the answer to that is, store the partial tube in the freezer until the next use.
