Yurbuds Inspire 500 Headphones

I bought these years ago and just started using them again for running and weightlifting but I cannot stand them! They wont stay in my ears. While running I feel like I’m repositioning one then the other constantly. I’m writing this review while trying to lift weights and they’re even falling out here. No wonder they were sitting unused for so long.

I love finally having wireless earbuds! I like listening to music while I’m cooking or doing chores around the house, but I inevitably forget that I am “attached” and move away from my phone and jerk— splat— my phone is face down on the floor!(Good thing I have a good phone screen shield!) When I am stretching, I knock the cable out with a swinging arm or leg (annoying!) It’s great to be able to walk around with music, and no phone! The reception is good; if I go to the other end of the house, it starts to cut out, but otherwise it stays connected. I bought these because I love the Yurbud earbuds; I haven’t used anything else for years! As far as the earbud tips go, I think I slightly prefer the old style; I replaced mine with some of my extra old ones. Mine usually stay in pretty well, but after awhile they can get loose ( in your ears, or on the earbuds!) I have lots of extras, but you can buy them separately. My one caveat with this product (and why it only gets four stars) is that the sound quality is not as good as with their regular earbuds. It needs more bass (maybe they can fix this in the future!)

Update: January 2020: I purchased Dec. 2018, flash forward 1 year later and the product stopped working! I'm not happy with the fact that they stopped working completely and now I'm in the hunt for another pair of headphones for the gym. I enjoyed these Yurbuds because essentially they do not fall off your ears and they are truly sweat proof, which is the only reason for my 3-stars. But man am I disappointed now with no headphones.My review when I purchased in Dec. 2018:I must say after reading other reviews of these headphones I was a bit wary of purchasing. In any event, I did purchase anyway and Im not disappointed. They are exactly what I needed and expect from YurBuds especially with the "lock-in" mechanism they have which to me no other brand or company has! These are my second pair of Yurbuds, the only reason I wanted this pair was because of the bluetooth/handsfree feature. My 1st pair had the wires and needed direct connection to my handheld device. The only thing I had to do was get a different size earbud cover. The size with this one is size 5 - too big for me. So I had to purchase a size 4 but overall satisfied with them.

The are okay. I like that they are wireless, they are cheap, they don't lose connection and the battery life is decent. Every time you turn them on, the headphones tell you if the battery is "good, medium, or low". I put them on recently and it said the battery was "medium". I ran for about 35 minutes and they came on and said the battery was low. I think they get about 5 hours of use on each charge, so keep that in mind.The volume on these is not great. They are not very loud, which for me isn't an issue because I don't mind hearing what is going on around me while exercising, but if you are trying to drown out any noise, these are definitely not for you.The battery pack is light and doesn't bother me as long as I use the clip and clip the headphones to my shirt or sports bra to keep them still. Overall, decent set of wireless headphones for the price.

In ear headphones are a bit of a gamble and vary depending on each person. Having said that. I liked their wired version so I gave these a shot and love them. They fit comfortably in the ear. They sound good enough for working out and running which is what they are made for. My only issue with these is that to get to the next song you have to hold down the volume for 3 seconds. That doesn’t sound like a long time but when you are runnning it takes forever. And don’t think of skipping through a few songs quickly. But other than that they are great. Comfortable and sound fine. I would buy again

I originally bought a pair of these from Ross for about $25, and after about a year of use, a little papillon decided that they would be a fun chew toy, so I came on here and bought another pair. As a road cyclist, power-lifter, and avid gym-goer; these earbuds are the best for long-lasting workouts that hit hard. The sound is exceedingly crisp, with strong lows and clear highs. I would say that the mids are where these lack the most (When spending <$40 on audio, don't expect perfect sound). The battery lasts all day for me, and has yet to display noticeable dilapidation in battery life. They are truthful in the fact that they don't fall out, as well. Takes a substantial tug to get them out.For the price that you are spending, I would give these earbuds 5 stars in each category. Best bang for you buck hands down.

I love having wireless headphones while running - makes it so much easier to stretch and run, overall. I have another pair of Yurbuds (wired) that I love. The earpiece fits so snugly while these Inspire feels slightly loose, even with the larger size that came with (2 sizes come with the headphone). I also find that connection isn't very far from my phone so if my arm shoots out just a little, it loses connection sometimes. Overall, I'm pretty excited still about these. They are comfortable and I'll probably just switch out the older ear pieces for these (they're interchangeable) and then they'll probably be closer to perfect! :)

I love love love Yurbuds as a brand and manufacturer. These may me knockoffs as after a few months they just wouldn't take a charge or turn on. Contacted JBL who bought out Yurbuds and they were kind enough to replace them anyway but informed me that they were not covered under warranty as this was not a licensed seller. I wouldn't buy again. Just buy from JBL themselves at least if anything happens they will replace them.Since I got my new ones no issues. Love them perfect for the gym.

Sounds great, fit well. My only complaint is that I keep “turning up” the volume even though it’s on max.

A qualidade do som é ótima, mas as vezes o fone cai do ouvido. Meu ouvido é pequeno e se ficar mto tempo com ele, sinto incômodo. Por sorte eu uso menos de duas horas por dia. Outro ponto que gostei é a duração da bateria. Consigo usar 5 dias sem recarregar (media de 1,5 horas/dia)

Comfortable, don’t fall out.

Não se adaptou bem á orelha. Seria interessante um terceiro adorador intra auricular. Não recomendo para quem tem a orelha irregular.
