Bought in March of 2019 so I've had it for over 4 years now and love it ! I worked in the family restaurant business for over 10 years frying seafood in Vulcan fryers. I always appreciated the efficiency and heat recovery of those commercial fryers. Now, I often fry shrimp and fish for house parties, and this thing will fry 300 of the jumbo sized (15-20 count) under 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Its excellent at heat recovery after dropping 3 baskets full of shrimp with 20 shrimp per basket, so thats 60 shrimp at once....you really have to know what your doing or they will stick, so you have to shake the baskets every 20 or so seconds. Total fry time for 60 shrimp is less than 3 minutes....more like 2.5 minutes. The valve is wide open in order to do this. You will love this fryer.

This is our 2nd Bayou Classic. The first one we had was a 4Gallon (2 Basket) model that we've had for about 8 years. We are going to use this for concessions, selling French fries for our local football team. The 3 baskets give you the flexibility of staggering when you put in so that you're constantly able to pull things like Fish, Shrimp, Fries, Curds, Egg Rolls, etc. out of the oil without swings In the temps. We'll use this with our 2 basket to be able to keep up with demand

This thing is amazing. Cooked about 100# of fish filet in about 1 hour 45 minutes and didn't ruin the oil one bit. save yourself time, a headache and money. I highly recommend this fryer. Wish i would have bought the double now.

Finally put my fryer together… had it for awhile and never used it buttttt can’t wait to fry some fish plus more! They 4stars is because it was a little beat up but I definitely can’t wait to fie her up!!! Prayfully it does the job!

Upon first use of this $699 fryer I identified that there was a leak and oil was pooling up under the fryer. After further investigation identified that the leak was coming from a cracked or faulty weld. I reach out to the seller and their solution was for me to go purchase some JB weld a try patching it wish that. I bought a brand new broken product from this company and instead of trying to send a new unit they want me to put a bandaid on it.

We purchased the Bayou Classic fryer for our Rec football league. Our Fry’s are our biggest seller at the Baseball park but we needed a cooker that could keep up when we were away from the Park kitchen. This fryer well exceeded our expectations and produced a perfect product. We are discussing purchasing an additional cooker.
