Maybelline Color Sensational Shine Compulsion Lipstick, Berry Blackmail, 1 Tube, 0.1 Ounce

This lipstick goes on so smoothly and has a great shine. The price is unbeatable and it feels like it's hydrating. I'm buying another one. The color is just my shade of deep red too.I just have a suggestion for anyone who buys this. Due to the slim shape of the lipstick and the fact that it's so moisturizing and not crayon-like, it should be kept in the fridge. When it gets hot, it will be prone to breaking prematurely. Take it out a few minutes before you need it. I've experienced this with these kinds of lipsticks before and with several more expensive brands. If you have to take it with you in hot weather, put it back in the freezer until you leave the house. It may help it last longer. It's still a winner for me.

I don’t usually give reviews but was very pleased with this. First because unfortunately I have had some previous dealings with other sellers with lipstick that were not in a very good condition when ordering online:Lipstick that was smeared as if somebody had tried it. The case looking old also- for a brand-new item. I never left a bad review, just did not buy from them anymore.I have worn this lipstick for a while now. Then could not get it except for an exorbitant price which I would not pay. So have been scraping out the bottom of it. I use it on top of my other lipsticks to mix. Then I saw it- this one- one at a decent price. I ordered it.It arrived in a clean bubble wrap pack. The case shiny and new, the lipstick immaculate and untouched. Pristine. I have told my friends about this as they mentioned the color, so I imagine many more will be using this company with the unusual and nice name!

I generally love Maybelline lip products, and this one is certainly a winner in my book! I was excited to see that they came out with a shiny lipstick--I've really had it with all of the matte lip products, and have been hoping that the tide would turn back to products that make your lips look soft and moist, not dry. Anyhow, I ordered three of these-mauve, chocolate and taupe. Mauve is my favorite of the three. It's just a beautiful color. The chocolate is more orange-ish than I would expect, on me anyhow, but I do still like it. The taupe is a really pretty and unusual tone that is different to wear. It is a bit of a slippery formula, not a creamy one like their original Color Sensational. At one time, they had some high shine shades of Color Sensational, but I think these are softer and shinier than those. For the softness and slip that these have, they do have a decent wear time, however. Not what I would call LONG wearing, but decent wear time. They have a pretty shine, not a crazy, over-the-top lip gloss shine. I plan on trying the rest of the colors. I think they are just a great addition to a lipstick wardrobe for a very reasonable price.

I ordered this lipstick once before recently and it is moisutirizing and creamy. I loved it so much I decided to order another color. However my second color I received was opened and used as you can see in the photo(also missing a chunk at the top)...Usually a brand new lipstick will be in plastic covering or atleast the top of the lipstick will look smooth. This one looks like someone used it to swatch or something and then shipped it to me. At first I thought maybe it is just damaged and I looked at the cap/top but I don't see any signs of that. Luckily I contacted Amazon and will be receiving a replacement soon....I can't wait to try it the color looks beautiful. I swatched it on my hand. I love the packaging

As a pale redhead, I have to be careful ordering makeup online. I love the Taupe Seduction color. Looks nice on and lasts for hours. I ordered more of this color and will order more as needed.

Color is thin and doesn't stay on more than about an hour. I won't buy it again.also the color that comes on isn't the same color advertised. It has another color in the middle of it. A frosty color.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've has this lipstick brand in the past. I ordered Pink Fetish but it's more orange or coral than pink
