I work in auto body and these scan tools are pretty much mandatory anymore. I got tired of always having to borrow one so I did some research on these ones and decided to try it out. It's worked on every vehicle iv connected it to including brand new 2024 GM and Toyota vehicles which I commonly work on. I can diagnose easily any system that is having trouble codes and I can control any module in the vehicle to actively test them such as Windows or door locks or even convertible tops with what ever sensors available telling me what they are currently doing. Great tool and naturally depending on manufacturer of the vehicle will depend on how friendly it is to find what you need but if you do enough work in the automotive field you know where to look for what you need. Iv compared it to a scan tool that values at over $8000 and this scanner was able to do most everything that one could. I would have had to go up to the next model to truly match the expensive one but it has features I dont actually need such as programming tpms, but it is nice to know that is available if I needed it. But worth the price for what it is capable of. The last note is it is also capable of wifi printing the reports which is a huge bonus for my work. They look professional and they are easy to read and you can even set up the header for your company and contact information. You can even set it up so that the customer information is available and attached to each work order that you scan. All you need is a wifi printer attached to the same wifi as your scanner and that's it to set it up to print reports.

Very user friendly and lots of great features. Haven’t even scratched the service of the potential of this tool! Mainly bought it to program my wife’s new remotes but that was just the beginning!!!!!

This scanner is great, not only does it perform the basic tasks such as reading/clearing check engine lights or reading live data but you can scan all the computers on the CAN bus and check/clear troubles that you would not see normally with a cheap scanner or a Bluetooth obd 2 adapter. You can run active tests on most systems in the vehicle, program keys into the immobilizer, and a lot more. This scanner also comes with a shop manager program built in , so if your like me and do some automotive side work , you can save the vehicle your diagnosing/repairing along with customer information , and service intervals. I've only had it for a short time but even the few cars that i've used this on are stored as well as the fault codes that were present at the start of the diagnosis so i can look back and see when certain problems were fixed and what specific problems were present at the time. Overall this product is well worth the money especially with the wireless obd2 connection as i can watch/record live data as im under the hood adjusting /testing different components.

This scanner has what you need as a tech without a factory scan tool. You can read all the data monitors which is the main thing I need. I really prefer the Autel interface over the snap-on tools and launch tools. The bidirectional stuff works pretty decent. I use it to reset all the oil lights on European stuff. The record function works better than the Nissan OEM scanner. I have beat this tool up, the screen is strong, the scratches that it gets have not hurt my ability to read or use the touch screen. The Bluetooth VCI is specifically useful for finding vacuum leaks where you want to be watching the RPMs closely while you move around and spray water or throttle body cleaner. It is also very useful for things like evap testing. Put something on the Bluetooth VCI so you don’t forget it, something that would be noticeable when you try to use the pedals, like a lanyard. Also don’t always scan all the modules, you will end up pausing it when you realize there are always 20 past codes for a voltage drop 4 months ago.

This scan tool is amazing. I really love it. It brings up codes that are not even part of the check engine light and the light doesn't even have to be on to pull the codes. The Bluetooth aspect is a very very convenient addition to this tool. It goes quite a ways away and still reads, allowing you to find shade most of the time when you can't get the car in the shade. The downside is that the seller, not the company, was not completely honest about the product. They mention that it has TPMS capabilities leaving out theat the function is extremely basic and doesn't do everything you might want it to do. This brand makes one pretty much identical that has had the extra software for TPMS capabilities added(just FYI).It also allows for real time data, showing many many aspects of the engine performance, cam-crank ratio, fuel pressure, true percentage of fuel level, fuel tank capacity, timing of each misfire, and so many others. It has the option to take freeze frames to allow for future viewing of live data. You can save code reads, take pictures, and has a shop manager option. The shop manager option gives the ability to input customer info, customer car linking and specific scans and data linking to each car and customer. When first purchased and registered you receive a year of free software upgrades that come up to the scan tool. In the pictures you can see that mine is at 100% battery life, I have not charged it (nor have I used it) in almost 2 months, so battery life while it's off is very sustaining.Another great feature is the function to do a Google search directly from a specific code. You just scan the car, look at the codes, click on one, then select search and look up the issue to find possible solutions online.
