Great show with unfortunate events

This series is great! My only complaint is season 7 is currently on air but seasons 2 - 6 are nowhere to be found unless you get some bootleg copy from another country. What's the deal?

I really can't say enough good things about 9-1-1.I don't watch much American TV, but I will watch this.The plots are gripping and believable.The sub-plots (character's lives) are interesting.The cast is diverse with all being equal [unlike some series where the whites are portrayed as idiots (i.e. The Neighbourhood]And there are some love scenes but nothing near "wouldn't let me teen see".And the acting is stellar - ALL the cast. And, let me tell you, as fabulous as Angela Bassett is, the other cast mates hold their own beside her.My only gripe is...Why is this the only season on DVD?!?!??!

This is my favorite newer show! I only wish more seasons were on dvd!

I was leery about this series when it first came out; I like the genre but there are a number of "procedural cop" or "emergency / first responder" TV shows out there today that tend to conflate "political activism" and storytelling...so you end up with a "liberal" or a "conservative" bias at best woven subversively throughout the show and at worst beats you around the head every ten minutes through bad dialogue. Season 1 of this series is entertaining, well-written, and does an excellent job of reflecting reality (in-so-far as a show like this can reflect reality) without becoming politicized, over-sexualized or repetitive.

It is a heart felt story and the characters are really good. I enjoyed the first episode and I hope people keep an open mind about it. I notice some reviews are not too kind it is a TV show to be enjoyed it is not a documentary where everything is correct technically. I think the producers did a good job on combing every aspects of seriousness, sorrow, humor, problems and team work. I like Abby character and I think there is more to come for her character I have some ideas but I will keep them to myself. I hope the show success and looking forward to the second season I really hope it is more than six episodes to this season.

I haven't seen many re runs of 911 out there and I really like to watch the show when I want to. Great actors and actresses with good story lines.
