Finally! After three other brands
I've used several other brands over the years. Had to replace a hose recently and went through several new soaker hoses that failed spectacularly. When this arrived (overnight) it was clearly heavier and a bit larger in diameter. As soon as it was hooked up, it was evident that this was the hose I was looking for.It had a much greater output which was even the whole way down the hose. The only comments I have is that the fittings seem good but I'd prefer both brass fittings and a spring type (or other) strain relief at the end because the bending tends to cause weakness and leakage at the beginning of the fitting. Still it's the best hose I've had and I'll probably get another since our drought has been so prolonged.I definitely would recommend that you get this hose.

No end cap!
I read I'm not the first to have no end cap. Evidentially the end cap is just put on the end of the house and is easily "lost" along the way. So after installing today (6/26/25) to water my tomato plants from the bottom in the middle of a heat wave, well, isn't happening.

Works better than I imagined
Easy to set up. It comes with multiple washers to adjust your water flow. The hose is thick, but easy to maneuver around your plants.

Sprang a leak after just one week of use
The media could not be loaded. I bought two Rocky Mountain soaker hoses (5/8 in, 50 ft) to hook together. After one week of use, one of the two sprang a large leak rendering it useless. Unfortunately, I had purchased the hoses a month before watering season, and this is outside Amazon's return window. I wrote to Rocky Mountain on their website contact form a couple days ago but have not had a response. So it seems that despite the claimed seven year warranty, I am out of luck. They don't have a phone number on their website, so there's no way to call them to discuss the defective hose.FYI, I simultaneously bought two Rainpoint flat soaker hoses. The Rainpoint hoses have been working fine since we started using them about a week ago.Edit: Amazon very kindly replaced the defective hose, even though it was after their official return period. Apparently, the company or distributor went out of business, so the supposed 7-year warranty is meaningless. Kudos to Amazon for the excellent customer service.

Working well so far.

Good quality Soaker hose.
Looks like the good quality Soaker hose i bought about 20 years ago. I cut it into pieces for each planter box and feed it with a drip irrigation system. Fits my old fittings perfectly.

I was a little disappointed!
I did product research about which soaker was the best and Rocky Mountain came out on top. Because this got such high recommendations, I decided to give this a try. To be honest, I was a little disappointed and I feel like it doesn't like up to the high reviews that I read about or is worth the price point. The heavy-duty rubber wasn't very heavy-duty at all as there were several places the water was actually spraying out like there was a hole in the hose. I didn't discover this until after I had it installed in my garden or I would have returned it for something else. The upside was that it did come with three washers to regulate the water flow so that was helpful to some degree. I'm not sure I would recommend this hose or buy it again based on my experience.
