Motorola T505 Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit and FM Transmitter

I've had this unit for about a year now. I couldn't decide whether to get the newer model or this one. The reviews seemed better, so I got this one. The farthest range from the unit my phone can be before the signal breaks is about 30 feet. It has a range of about 25 feet from the unit to the radio antenna on the car. The sound quality depends on your phone actually. I frequently stream music from radio stations around the world and if they have a 128 bit rate, then the music sounds as good as actually coming from a local station. When I play my mp3 songs from my iPhone, they sound as if coming from a CD in the car.The only negative - and it's a big negative - is you can't set the station frequency for the unit. You have to use the scan feature and the scan feature doesn't always pick a completely open frequency. It's not sensitive enough to find the best open frequency. Therefore I have to rescan multiple times until I find a completely open frequency. Once you find one, it will stay on it when you turn it off and back on again as long as you don't accidentally hit the scan button on the back. It would also be nice if the on/off button and scan buttons were on the front so you could see them easily.

The station selection could be better, after several rounds it eventually gets it right but once your dialed in it works great.

This works great for hands free driving. I am not good with electronics and frequently can't remember how to work things. When you are driving, and the phone rings, all you need to do is turn on the power and then push the little phone and it picks up the call. Even hangs up automatically when the caller hangs up. It has such good range, I have to remember to turn it off when I leave the car as it will continue to pick up my calls from my house. It automatically turns off in 1/2 hour of no activity. You can send it to your car radio and it isn't really hard but I don't bother, it works great through its own speaker. The simpler the better when driving. It has voice recognition but I don't bother with that either, I just push the speed dial from my phone and it picks up the call automatically. The cost is very reasonable for what it does.

Great to have, I attach it to my seatbelt to hear better. If I make it louder it is harder to hear... Seat belt attachment is perfect.

Love this Bluetooth for the car. It gives my ears a break from using the ear piece bluetooths. South is very clear! Great buy for the price.

We got this for my mom for her birthday, it was super easy to install and sync with the phone. My mom loves it!

This is the fourth one I have purchased on behalf of my field staff. These are construction guys and they can be rough on things, it has held up for each of them. They all love how easy it is to install and operate! Very reliable and I hope that they'll continue to make this available should I need to order more. Give it a try, you'll love it too!
