These flower cookie cutters look great. I love the different sizes, though I really purchased this set for the two smallest, as I have a Swedish cookie recipe for a small filled cookie that you assemble like a layer cake, and you use bite sized cookie cutters for that recipe. The edges of these cookie cutters are quite thin, giving a good clean precise cut, which is nice. Having the covers for the top edge does certainly make them easier to use, but a bit harder to wash and get completely dry. I was initially going to take them off when I washed the cookie cutters, but thought better of it, as they have a tight fit - especially with the two largest that are shaped to the contour of the petals - and I wasn't sure I would get them back on once they were off. I was also concerned I might bend the metal in the process, since once of the reasons they cut so well is they are thin, though stainless steel I always think of as strong, and pretty much rust proof.In this set. the largest and the two smallest cookie cutters have five petals per cookie, while the next to largest has six petals. I mention that only because if you need to use a smaller cookie cutter to cut the center out of a cookie for some reason and want it to match exactly, you would have to work around the next to largest cookie cutter, since that is the odd one out. For most people, that would never make any difference one way or the other.These cookie cutters come in a small plastic case - not hard plastic though - which would have been a good way tostore them, except that part of my cookie cutter order did not arrive in great condition, though I still have them in there until I find something better.Overall, I am really happy with these cookie cutters, as they seem well made, and there is a nice size range. I did receive these cookie cutters for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for my honest review of them.
