推測を積み重ねていくゲーム
未確認生物がどこかヒトマスに潜んでいます！他の人の手がかりを参考に誰よりも早く見つけ出しましょう！自分に与えられた手がかりをバレないようにしつつ、相手の手がかりをどう絞りこむか、じっくり考えるタイプなので、ひと味違ったプレイ感。この商品は英語版ですが、日本語訳がネットにありますので、問題なく遊べます。

推理好きなら間違いなくハマるゲーム
日本語版が市場になく、どうしても欲しくて購入しました。ルールブックは遊んだことがあったので心配ありませんでしたが、クルーブックの翻訳が大変だなぁ思っていました。でも翻訳をHPに載せてたいる神のような方がいて、それを印刷させてもらい、楽しく家族で何回も遊んでいます。

なぜか書籍カテゴリに入っていますが、ボードゲームです
マップ内部のどこか1マスに存在する、未確認生物の生息地を当てる推理&論理ボードゲームです。プレイヤーはゲーム開始時に秘密のヒントをそれぞれ与えられます。自分のヒントを他プレイヤーに勘付かれないようにしつつ、他プレイヤーのヒントを質問で探り、真っ先に未確認生物の生息地を当てた人が勝利します。説明書とプレイヤー配布ブックは全て英語ですが、オンラインに非公式の和訳PDFがあるので、適宜これを印刷して使用しましょう(｢Cryptidクルーブック日本語化｣で検索すると｢ボドゲ和訳の妖精さん｣様の記事が出てきます)。近々日本語版も発売されるらしいですが、自分は待ち切れずに買ってしまいました。2-5人のどの人数でも同じようなプレイ感で遊ぶことができ(2人プレイルールは公式サイトに存在)、戦略性のある論理ゲーなのにほとんど堅苦しさがなく、評判が大変良いです。莫大なマップの組合せがありリプレイ性が非常に高く、難易度も2種類から選べます。公式が提供しているマップ構築用のウェブアプリもあります。問題は、ゲームの性質上誰か1人がミスをするとゲーム全体が崩壊する所。ミスのペナルティはありますが、影響の大きさに比べあまりにも軽いのでほとんど意味をなしていません。ルールはあまり複雑ではありませんが、マップの各部名称や｢○○以内｣の定義の説明など、入念にルール説明を行う必要があります。また、論理ゲー特有の長考に陥ることが多いので、手番に使える時間を1-2分程度に制限するのがオススメです。

30分くらいの推理ゲーム
未確認生物の居場所を見つける推理ゲームです。自分しか知らない情報と、他プレイヤーが持つ未確認生物の情報を元に最初にcryptid(未確認生物)を見つけたプレイヤーの勝ち。インストも難しくはなく、英語も中学生程度の単語(今は小学校程度かも)が解ればあまり覚えることもないので、ボードゲーム初心者にも好評でした。
