Great for the beach
Nice extra large blanket. Doesn't have much cushion though. I used it for a beach trip with a family of 5. We were all able to fit comfortably. Did exactly what I needed it to do. It was easy to set up & clean afterwards. Sand fel off easily with a good shake. Folding it back up was pretty easy as well. I would suggest practicing before getting to the beach

Love this!!! Picnic blanket to keep handy in the car at all times
This is wonderful to carry in my vehicle at all times for when I just want to get away from it all, somewhere quiet, and in a park or the woods. Previously, this required a tarp and a blanket, and neither folded up as nicely as this picnic blanket. The gentle nature colors of green and cream are perfect for the purpose of this blanket. It is a very generous size and will easily allow six people , including adult and children to sit upon it.It is very well made, secure with neat seaming/stitching and easily folds up into a compact blanket that is held together by velcro and a convenient carrying strap that you can throw over your shoulder. The surface you sit on appears to be stain resistant and easily cleaned by wiping off any marks or food debris that may get left behind after the picnic. Since it is lightweight, it would also be perfect on a motorcycle or when hiking or bicycling. It also includes a stationary that allows you to attach it to other items that you may be transporting at the same time ensuring you do not lose or drop it along the way.The company included a diagram of how to fold the blanket up in the same manner in which it was received and didn't assume that the new owner would be able to just figure it out. Kudos to the company! Still, be sure to pay attention as you unfold it and become familiar with how it's done as the diagram may be confusing without seeing it in person. The manner in which the blanket is folded correctly insures that the surface that was in contact with the damp ground will never come in contact with the surface that you sit on.I think this blanket with its unique use is a great value for the money . Today is the 4th of july, so we will probably take it with us to sit on the ground to watch the fireworks.

Good barrier but very thin
So I bought this extra large waterproof picnic blanket with grand visions in my head: me, lounging under a tree like a carefree woodland nymph, or maybe my elderly dog snoozing comfortably on a soft, portable travel bed while I sip something from an insulated cup and pretend I’m a person who picnics regularly. Spoiler alert: **this is not that blanket.**Let’s start with the good: the blanket is BIG—truly extra large. You could host a modest family reunion on this thing, or at least a well-spaced charcuterie situation. It’s waterproof, which is great if you enjoy not sitting in a damp surprise patch of grass. And the blue and white checkered design is adorable—very Pinterest-meets-public-park aesthetic. It also folds up nicely and comes with a handy carrying strap that makes you feel like you're about to have a much comfier time than you actually are.**Now, the not-so-plushy truth:** The ad photos are misleading. Folded just right, this blanket *looks* like it’s got padding—like maybe there’s some cozy quilted layer or at least a little squish. In reality? It’s the picnic blanket equivalent of a heavy-duty vinyl tablecloth. It's slick, tough, and completely lacking in cushion. If you’re hoping to use it as a portable dog bed, prepare for your pup to look at you with the same betrayal I got from mine—like, “This is just *floor*, but colder.”I thought I could outsmart the situation by folding it in half for extra padding. Plot twist: there is no “extra.” Sitting on this is no different from sitting directly on the ground... except now you’re slightly more waterproof and mildly disappointed. As far as functionality if used as intended, it totally works: it’ll keep the grass off your pants, the sand off your snacks, and your dignity intact *if* you’re under the age of 30 and don’t mind sitting directly on Earth’s crust. Unfortunately, I’m too old for that nonsense and my hips agree. So instead of letting it take up guilt space in my closet, I’m gifting it to someone with younger joints and a high tolerance for reality vs. expectation. In short: cute design, great size, decent value, and highly effective as a barrier between you and nature—but don’t let the photos fool you into thinking you’re getting a mobile memory foam bed topper. You’re getting tablecloth armor. Use accordingly.

Perfect Picnic Blanket for Family Adventures
We LOVE this!! We used this extra large waterproof picnic blanket for a family evening at Lake Geneva Beach, and it was absolutely perfect. After a fun swim, we laid it out to watch the fireworks, and it was just what we needed. The size was more than enough for the three of us—we had room to stretch out, snack, and relax without feeling cramped at all.The green and white color is so bright and fun, and it gave off the perfect summer vibe. The black underside was also super practical—it didn’t show any dirt or messes from the sand or grass, which made cleanup feel like a breeze. The material is soft and really comfortable to sit and lay on, even directly on the sand. It felt cozy without trapping heat, which was great after being in the sun. Our toddler was running around, climbing all over it with her toys, and the thick stitching held up beautifully—nothing snagged or came loose. It really feels like it can handle the chaos of family outings! One of the best parts is that it truly stayed dry, even when the sand was damp underneath. No soggy blanket, no uncomfortable spots. And when it was time to pack up, it rolled up so easily and fit right back into the bag with no struggle at all—a huge win when you’re juggling a tired toddler and beach gear.
