Dr. Miracles Dr. Miracles Follicle Healer Hydrating Oil for Hair, 2 Oz, 2 Ounces

I have type 4C hair, & to avoid dealing with it I've been having it micro-braided since I was maybe 5 (I know, I know). There's always one or two that fall off around the edges; that's normal. But this past January I switched hair dressers, and before I knew what was happening, I tried to pull my hair back one day and realized I looked a little funny...took me a moment to figure out what was wrong: my hairline had receeded a FULL inch. All my edges had fallen off, one braid a day. First instinct was to shave it all off, bald, and start from scratch. After I stopped panicking, I went online and did some research, and found this.I've used it in together with Dr. Miracle's Spot & Scalp Treatment Serum, alternating each day, for the past three months, and I can tell you it works! I saw a difference in as short as the first week, when I was religious about it; few drops every morning and night in the affected areas, taking my Biotin, Iron & Vitamin B supplements daily, drinking water the way I should have been drinking water all along. I can now pull my hair back without feeling like a bald eagle. The hair grew back finer at first, which is understandable (it was pulled from the roots), so I looked like I had a lot of baby hair, but now it's thickening again, albeit slowly. (I bet I'd see a MUCH bigger difference if I'd stuck to the rigid rehab routine I started with).Two things;-Once applied it has an intense cooling effect, be prepared for that.-Other than your scalp and area adjascent to your hairline, don't let it get on your skin. I forgot a couple of times and wiped drops rolling off with the back of my hand, and I immediately broke out in a rash. Probably just a temporary allergic reaction; no itching, & it was gone within a couple of hours. But better to avoid it altogether if possible.

This is a product I have not used i a while as I used to buy it in stores and it eventually disappeared from shelves... so i forogt about it. I have extremely thick hair, that tends to feel very tight at my roots and I love this product for its cooling affect on the scalp. Also lovely after a relaxer, if you partake. The bonus is all that is in this product that will fortify your hair at the root, its beginning. As your hair gr9ws out it will be stronger and shinier and I forgot how clutch this product is!

Initially I was doubtful but it works as described. My only con was the dropper, it dropped alot of product. Very disappointing it is no longer available and unsure as to why it is unavailable any longer.

I love this product. This not only feels amazing with the "tingling sensation" it gives in my hair but works great. I had some very badly broken off hair last month due to lack of moisture and wearing styling that out too much tension on my edges and baby hairs. I've been massaging this into my scalp every night before bed and my hair is intensely hydrated. My edges have grown back tremendously and I have confidence they will be full and healthy in just a month or two more of use. I will not stop using this product and I feel that I will be a lifetime repurchaser. I only took off one star because I really wish it came in larger packaging as you go through one bottle extremely quickly with recommended use. I just repurchased the 3 pack because it is cheaper and makes more sense to buy them that way! Love!

I bought this product years ago and stopped using it after a couple of weeks as it's very greasy even when using just a small amount and the smell is not the best. However, I did enjoy the cooling and tingly feeling when applied to my scalp. Knowing the above cons, I have started using the product again as I recently began wearing a weave again and am concerned that my already thin edges may be in trouble. I am hoping that with regular use, I can save my edges, so I am willing to deal with the greasiness and smell for the time being just to see if this product is worth it.

I bought this in January for post partum hair loss. I’m extremely pleased with this regrowth! 3 months! I apply it once or twice a week before a shower. Massage it into my scalp upside down for 4 min and then shower like normal. I love how I feel a little tingle when I apply this. It has a pleasant mint scent and easy to use dropper. I’d definitely buy it again!

This is the only problem I use and recommend for hair growth when it's possible for it to regrow. When My God-Child was two she developed a hugh bald spot at the crown of her head. We utilized Dr. Miracle's shampoo, conditioner, and this serum to regrow her hair. When my daughter was in the 8th grade she developed a bald spot due to wearing tight ponytails for dance. I took her to hair stylists and was told she had traction alopecia and the hair wouldn't grow back. I refused to take that as the final answer so I ordered this product. I massaged it in after each wash. Her hair began to grow back after a few month. We are now utilizing this product again and have seen results. Please don't expect immediate results because it does take time.

Didn't help with anything. It is too greasy. The Grow oil is much better than this.
