Works great to bypass a UPS
This device is in my rack next to the UPS and enables me to easily bypass the UPS, and will make it easy to switch the rack to a different battery source or generator in the event we lose power or if the UPS fails.

Exactly what I needed. Tested multiple times switching between supply and ups power with load, not a hiccup!

died in 30 days
It died after 30 days of operation. The UPS cable does no get current. So it is worthlessCan not return as the window already closed

the built-in outlets needed a converter
The outlets on the device are not what I would call standard and I need to purchase two converters to be able to connect it to the UPS. However, I consider that a minor inconvenience but it would have been informative to include that information in the description.

Larger than standard 1U slot
I had a rack that didn't have much extra room to spare, so when I installed this unit and it took up 1.25 slots I was disappointed.Otherwise, the unit has been working as expected.

Setup different than many
I have two of these with two UPS systems installed in a 42 space rack. Normally this is used to connect to main power and a UPS. I have them connected to two different UPS systems, so I can be in "maintenance mode", and lose power yet, my rack is still powered by one of the UPS systems. I was worried about the switch heaving a slight power disconnect while switching between the 2 different power sources, but there isn't. This is a great way to ensure better up time while moving power sources around.
