Panacea 093432885994 88599 Trough Coco Fiber Replacement Liner, 36-Inch, 36 inch, Natural

I got my 36-Inch Horse Trough Planter at Home Depot last year and after one year the coco fiber was in a deplorable shabby condition. I made a trip to the Home Depot garden center for the replacement liner & there were none in stock. So you go online and here it is on Amazon at a great price. It was shipped quickly and when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised! This Coco Fiber Replacement Liner is nicer than the liner that came in my 36-Inch planter. The fiber feels to the touch to have some kind of coating, which explains the comment by another reviewer that their planter seemed to hold a little more moisture in hot summer months. The liner fit my planter perfectly. I am very pleased and would recommend to a friend.

I put three of these into built-in metal holders on my balcony last summer, added dirt, and planted geraniums. They held up beautifully all summer. In fall I removed the flowers and left in the dirt. They held up through our MN winter. This summer I did not plant anything, but noticed they were getting smaller--birds (finches) were carting away pieces and chunks of the liner for their nests. Therefore the dirt was falling out and making a mess! I got rid of the original 3 and bought another one for the birds (since it's late to plant flowers). I like these coco liners, very sturdy. Just make sure something is planted in them or the birds will cart them off.

I don't understand why 6 inches more (36") should cost SO much more than a 30 inch liner. But since my local stores don't carry a 36 in liner, here I am buying an overpriced one. But the quality is good and the fit is good, so there you are.

Just the size I needed! I've been looking for the 24" size but no luck until I found them here on Amazon! So happy. My wrought iron flower boxes look perfect. I hope I can still find this size next year as well. They are very well made, not thin like many I have seen. They're also deep which I like since they hold more dirt than ones I've used before. I am so pleased! They arrived sooner than expected and I am a happy Garden Girl again!

Some people are saying these aren't very deep, but they are about an inch deeper than my 36" baskets, which seem standard size. I figure they will settle in well after some regular watering. They look great. There were a couple of thin spots, but not many. No water or soil has come out of them on the bottom. They were exactly as I was hoping for.

Nice and sturdy but not 24 inches. Measured the bottom at 18 inches. Was too small for my planter. Used it anyway because I had flowers that needed to be put out. Won’t order again

Last year I bought from Home Depot 36 inch planter boxes to hang from my patio railing. The coca liner that came with the planters did not hold water well. Before I gave up on the planters, I purchased replacement liners to see if that would help. It looks like it will. These fit perfectly in the planters and arrived in great shape. I planted some color last weekend and they definitely hold water. I am excited that these are working and it makes the planters I have usable without watering every day (okay - in July in Texas I will probably still water most days).

I like these coco liners for my wrought iron window boxes. They need to be replaced every few years as they will get brittle and wear out over time. These liners seemed a little thicker than other brands I have purchased in the past. The coco liners help keep the dirt moist yet lets excess water out, and I like the natural look of them. These liners have a nice shape and the top edge curves out slightly and looks more finished. I purchased the 36” and the 48”. Those sizes can be harder to find in store.
