I wish I could give 10 stars
This bed came MUCH quicker than expected. My son (9] and I assembled it together and there were several parts that he could handle assembling with little direction from myself. The assembly itself was pretty simple, but took about 4 hours to assemble the bed frame and 3 hours to do the drawers and put on the slats. One part that annoyed me in the directions is the part where the support bar was supposed to be turned completely around if we were putting in drawers, which was NOT mentioned until I opened the directions for the drawers. I remedied this by just removing the non-painted wood piece and rescrewing to the back (I'll attach a photo to show which piece I'm talking about). The box with the slats was broken and one part of the metal support bar was missing. I messaged the seller on Sunday evening and by Wed morning we had the new piece. So helpful and kind.Overall we're very pleased with this bed. The pieces are really solid. I can't imagine anything breaking on it. The finish is nice and not shiny or fake looking. My son is very happy with it and so are we.

Sturdy & Functional Bed
This bed is made of sturdy wood, is functional & cute. The downfall is that it’s not easy to assemble, was missing 1-2 screws, stickers are hard to remove & a few pieces were slightly damaged.

Really strong bed
Its very great, strong bed but it was a little difficult to put together, you have to properly take your time and read the instructions, the pieces wasn’t numbered, but however, once you take your time, it’s easy to be built and I also you wood glue to be more secure and on the safe side. And it has nice space to store things over all this bed is amazing and I LOVE IT !!!

Great bed and worth it
We got this bed last minute ordered on Sunday July 3rd and received by Wednesday. The bed was easy to put together once you got the instructions down, item is sturdy, very nice looking. We saved over $400 dollars compared to buying a similar model/quality from Ashley furniture. If your reading this, get this bed before it no longer is available.Item is made of solid wood not mdf.We are missing one bracket, and will reach out to seller, but other a se perfect.

Below Average for the price
The media could not be loaded. BLUF: I would give 2.5 stars if I could. The fit and finish is below average and I wish I would have spent the extra money on a bed from a reputable local furniture store. I would not recommend this bed for anything other than a child, or a guest room that does not get used daily.Construction/Material:I will start by saying I was happy that this product was constructed by 100% pine and not composite board. The downfall is that pine is a very soft wood and can warp, bend or break easier than other woods. The screws used for securing the bed slats were very small and shouldn’t be trusted to maintain a strong hold for the slats. I reinforced mine with larger wood screws I had from previous projects. Additionally, the headboard is fastened together with wooden dowels and a couple of metal bracket straps. This is probably the weakest part of the bed. I used wood glue to further secure the pieces. I wish the manufacturer would have made the headboard and headboard legs one piece, instead of numerous pieces fastened together like an afterthought. I anticipate needing to repair this later down the road. There a joints between the “headboard” and “legs” that I don’t necessarily trust. I added wood glue here as well to help strengthen the bond and prevent any additional movement on this joint. The rails of the bed were noticeably bowed. The bow is so drastic that the metal mattress slats did not sit flush on both ends of the bed. I am worried about the long term load bearing capability due to the offset. Furthermore, the bow of these rails create a noticeable gap between the drawer inserts and the bed rails. This is a fail because the drawer insert can actually be used to manage load on the bed. I would recommend the manufacture make this an optional single piece if you purchase the drawer set.The bases of the drawer are very thin. Probably too thin. They will likely bend and break or pop out of the grooves if you don’t pay special attention to the amount of clothing your put in there. I spent the most time during assembly with the drawers to make sure they were completely seated on all four sides of the drawers.Assembly:I am fairly handy and a hobbyist with minor projects around the house. This bed took quite a bit of time to assemble solo. DO NOT use power tools to assemble. You can risk over torquing and splitting the wood. The most time consuming was the drawers. I found deviating from the instructions here was more efficient to get a secure fit. I started with the face of the drawer and two sides before securing the back last. The instructions recommend assembling with the rear first and the drawer face last. This helped me make sure the thin base was able to properly seat in the grooves.I highly recommend using Elmer’s glue or wood glue for any adjoining parts of the headboard and drawers. It will help from parts coming loose.I received the metal slat kit instead of wood slats for the mattress base. This was a pain and riddled with fitment issues. It took some handy work to make sure it was all secure. Also note, the center support beam instructions do not allow for a flush fit with the ends of the support beam to the frame and metal slats. I had to invert the end near the door in the footboard to make sure it didn’t impeded with the door while sitting flush against the slats.Final Thoughts:I will keep this bed and see it through. I put too much extra effort in ensuring it is secure and somewhat pleasing aesthetically. After all, it is in a child’s bedroom. It is not worth my time to disassemble and re-package to send back. I was somewhat disappointed due to the expensive price tag (relatively speaking for an Amazon sold bed).

Great bed
Very sturdy bed and a nice color. The directions are a bit confusing and I recommend reading the drawer part as there’s a specific instruction in there that’s important. Because of it I had to climb under the bed and remove a piece. I also got a broken piece and the owner was awesome and replaced it immediately. It’s solid wood and fantastic for the price.

Don’t buy unless you’re an unemployed carpenter
Seriously. Or plan to spend a few hundred dollars paying a contractor to build it. If you ask friends for help, just know they probably won’t be your friends by the end of it. The directions might as well be hieroglyphics, and you can count on enough defects (holes drilled in the wrong place, bent, etc) that when you can’t get a piece together, you can’t just troubleshoot what YOU did wrong; you also have to check the parts to ensure THEY aren’t the problem. I had to contact the seller to send replacements for 4 different major pieces that arrived defective (beyond what I could fix myself). They are quick to respond, but if you planned for the bed to be done in a specific time frame, forget it. IF you put it together right (which requires multiple trips to Lowe’s, the intelligence of Stephen Hawking, and the patience of Mother Teresa), it is a sturdy bed that looks like the pictures. But still, even with it put together and looking nice in my son’s room, this goes down as one of my most regrettable purchases of all time. I’ve never been so tempted to light $900 on fire as I was during the 4 weeks I spent on this bed.
