good product for the price
Any one who has written a poor review for this product is delusional - its priced under $100 ! its not going to be the same as the one at the deli counter. Its not going to have a powerful motor or cut through frozen product. What it WILL do is is cut your pork loin or roast beef or turkey breast into nice thin slices. treat it right and it will treat you right.

It cuts meat
My headline is about the best thing I can say about it, it cuts meat. Other than that things simply do not seem to line up very well, the blade appears to not be even with the backing, the slide that you use to move meat back and forth with does not operate very smoothly and tends to hang up and get stuck. Would not purchase again nor would I recommend this particular item to a friend.

I used to make jerky quarter inch pieces. Worked well.

Good for the money
Blade could be sharper and the motor struggles a little bit. Consequently small amts of delicate meats can be shredded but for the most part does the job.

Exactly what a kitchen needs.
I had gotten a box of American Cheese & I also had a 5 lb roll of bologna. The old fashion American Cheese could not be sliced with a knife so I bought this slicer & it really works excellent on the cheese & the bologna. I am very very pleased & well satisfied. I just wish I had purchased years ago.

Thought it would be better quality but it is a good price for product. It will still work for what i'm doing.

You sent me a used unit!
I am very displeased with the fact that I ordered a NEW product and received a USED product. There were greasy fingerprints on it and meat underneath the blade and under the sliding unit. It was VERY obvious that this product had been used. Unfortunately, I had to keep this unit as I need to use it for an event that I was having otherwise I would have returned it just on the fact you sent me a used slicer. It seems to work well (after cleaning it thoroughly). Not too hard of clean up.

needs more power.
when cutting a roast to make jerky, smoke came from the motor. when cutting a hard cheese it bogged down.
