504252 Y-Pipe Exhaust Pipe - 350Z / 03-07 G35 Coupe

The car sounds mean at wide open throttle. I like the fact that using this allows my exhaust to sit a little higher. These Brooklyn streets have ruined the resonators on two Y-pipes in less than a year. There's a little drone at certain RPM's but I can live with that in order to avoid repairs, replacements and CEL's.

Welds are nice, but they won't win any appearance awards. Doesn't matter to me. This is a solid, high quality part. Looks beautiful. It is not polished. Overall, I think it is the best Y out there after looking high and low. No flex sections, but my experienced custom exhaust guy said it's fine on an inline mounted engine. Time will tell. I'm a little concerned about vibration.Despite the description and answers from the manufacturer, this Y-pipe DOES fit a 2005 infiniti G35 sedan 6 speed manual RWD with zero modifications required. I just had it done. The guy said it went on fine. No problem. Even the cross brace cleared. However, I can't speak as to whether or not it is a direct bolt in to the existing resonator. It is supposed to be on the coupe. I had this installed and custom new pipe all the way back. Stock resonator is gone. I put a Vibrant bullet resonator just behind the Y-pipe. Straight piped from there.
