General Chemistry: The Essential Concepts 7th Edition

It was required for my general chemistry class. Honestly a good price to be able to rent it for the whole semester. Warning, reading it will make you cry if you don’t understand chemistry.

I was afraid of having to buying or even renting out the newest edition but my professors actually recommended buying this edition since it had much better prices! I cannot say if there was any differences between this edition with the most recent one now (I did heard though that there wasn't any major changes) but this book was easy to study and take notes on for me. I ended up accidentally buying the book after several classes of chemistry but I haven't a regret about that!

It’s a nice book

I love this textbook it is in wonderful condition not a mark on a single page. but the front of it says Amazon Rental and I know I didn't select rent on this textbook so I am not sure if it got marked as a rental, or if this copy just says that but it really is just mine.

Solid binding. Good examples for exams. Practice/review questions tend to have answers in the books.

we ordered this for our son. He called us after his first day of class to say that there is a code that was supposed to be on a card in the book, so that he could get on-line for parts of the book. There was no such thing, and he had to pay $60 to get a new code so that he could take the class. and this is on top of a very expensive book to start! Was the card with the code in the packaging and inadvertently thrown out? we don't know---it would have been nice to know to look for it.
