This detergent is a great value and works fabulously. I have been using a different natural detergent for a couple of years and had a few pieces of clothing with stains I couldn't get out. Charlie's took the grease stains out!My daughter cleans houses and brings her towels home to wash. I am allergic to the smell of the products. This detergent removes the smell.

I opted for this after reading about the volume of micro plastic in detergent sheets, and so I went looking for a greener option. It does come in a plastic bag, but it's still so much less plastic packaging than the other options out there (plus our municipality incinerates its waste, so it's not a landfill factor). We've been using it now for about 3 months. It's not cheap, but a single bag goes a long way, maybe even longer than the equivalent cost of a liquid detergent.It's unscented and has been gentle on our skin. My son is very eczema prone, and it does not aggravate his skin.It's pretty good at getting out messes and stains, though I do boost regularly with baking soda.

Been using Charlie's Soap laundry powder for years. I have a front-load washer and have never cleaned it. There's no residue and no smells. My clothes are clean and seem to last forever.If you have any doubts about whether your current product leaves residue, just run a load of laundry without adding detergent; they will come out clean. That's because there's so much soap residue in the machine and the clothes. Because there's no residue, you also don't need fabric softener, which is only needed to counteract the detergent residue.Try this stuff. Seriously.

This has made a huge difference in reducing mold issues in my front loading washer. I have also noticed that my towels feel much softer.

I’ve been using this for years and I love it! I have sensitive skin and I’ve never had problems with this. A bag lasts me pretty long even though I do a lot of laundry and I like that I can wash my babies clothes with this as well. Would recommend
