WineWeaver - The Ultimate Wine Aerator [Crystalline Purple]

Based on other "gadgets" I have tried before I used to thing that aerating wine was a bit of a gimmicky thing, but after using this device I am may never pour another glass of red wine without it. This device instantly opens up the wine for immediate tasting. It pulls apart for easy cleaning and the base catches any drops between pours. A very well thought out design. We liked it so much we bought a second one (in green).As for myself, I didn't think this did anything to help the white wines, and in a blind tasting I acutally liked our white wines without the aerator.

In the course of doing some rudimentary research on wine aerators, I found this product to have the best reviews. No wonder...the product works as advertised and does so on a very simple principle. Expose as much of the wine to air as quickly as possible. The WineWeaver does this elegantly and inexpensively by design, not flourish.The bottom line is this: I conduct taste tests regularly with friends to determine if they can tell the difference in aerated vs non-aerated wine and the results are favorable to the WineWeaver about 90% of the time. Buy it and don't look back.

I just so happened to receive this item while I was borrowing a friend's Vinturi aerator. I couldn't tell the difference in taste between the two. Plus this wine aerator is great if you're trying out some of the new higher-end box wines (makes a huge difference in the taste - for the better), since you don't have to hold it. I purchased another one of these for a friend for her birthday and she really likes it as well. I'd highly recommend it.

Used it for the first time over the holidays. It sped up the aeration process and allowed us to fully enjoy a good bottle of wine more quickly. Easy to use. Also works well in a wine glass.

Great aerator! Way better than those cork style that don't even really aerate. It also has a nice holder when your done so none spills.

We have several different aerators -- you know the ones I'm talking about -- all of the popular ones! And, this is the best one so far...

This product really works. The nice thing about this is that you can use it for just one glass of wine as it adjustable.
