Superb
A lovely dark blonde picking up my natural highlights and covering grey, but after the next wash it just got better and bettr, lovely natural looking blonde colour, I don’t think I could get better from professional colouring. Just ordered 2 more

Great product with terrible packaging & colour name!
This should be called Light Ash Blonde, not Satin Blonde… what colour is Satin? How does that description help you to decide on what colour to buy!? The colour of the hair on the packaging is also VERY scary, almost ginger! Which is not how it turned out (thank goodness!). This is a great product, with horrendous packaging & product name.

Fantastic as a toner
I returned to natural brunette for over a year and decided to go light blonde again. After using a hair colour remover for the darker colour, one bleach and an ash blonde, my hair was a mixture of very warm orange, yellow and white on the ends. It’s not the first time I’ve lightened my dark hair so I knew this might happen.I was ready to give up as I didn’t want to cause any more damage, tried this due to another review and it has neutralised all of my hair, life saver. This is essentially a light ash blonde but I have used other brands of ash blonde before and this is the only one which has blended all of the brassy colours and resulted in a cool ash blonde all over.If you have a lighter blonde above level 8 and want to cool it down, this should be perfect and causes less damage than a permanent dye.

Great as a cool blonde toner :)
I use this in between my permanent ash blonde home dyes to freshen up my roots and get rid of brassy/gingery tones (which it does perfectly!). I just need to add that it will not lighten your hair, I have seen so many bad reviews saying that it didn't change hair colour etc - it won't, it's a semi permanent - only a high bleach permanent would do this to darker hair. So if you have medium-light blonde hair, and are looking for a semi permanent dye to smooth ends, add shine and even out colour this is for you (it's great for matching ends to roots again, I use it when my roots are going brassy, and my ends have faded lighter). First photo is in natural day light, second is in the hall with light on!

Would recommend
Bought this to cover the greys coming through until I can get back to the hairdresser's. Easy to apply and good colour.

Issue with L’Oréal Casting 801 Satin Blonde – Unusual Hair Colour Result.
I have been using L’Oréal Casting Crème Gloss 801 Satin Blonde for the last 10 years, and the colour has always been perfect for me. On this occasion, I ordered the same product – L’Oréal Casting 801 Satin Blonde – from your website/company.However, after using it, my hair turned a purple shade, almost like it had been bleached, which has never happened before. I’m not sure if the product I received was faulty or possibly not genuine, but something is definitely not right.

evened out my blonde
bought the satin blonde and did wonders for my hair colour. About 8 weeks previous to applying I had bleached and dyed my hair ash blonde but it was looking a bit patchy, orangey in places and greenish in others. This colour really evened out the tone and now my hair looks even. It actually also lifted my roots slightly which was unexpected as I thought demi permanent colours didnt have enough peroxide in to lift.

Leave on 5 minutes more if you have some greys
Not brassy, pleased with subtle colour.
