Works well, very portable
I carry this arround with my laptop. It saves a lot of space compared to a typical patch lead. The performance on 1Gb Ethernet seems as good as a normal CAT 6 lead, whic is impressive. There are some obvious minor compromises due to the design:1) It's not very long. That's OK to plug into a router on a desk,l for example, not so good for Ethernet ports at floor level.2) The flat cable tends to twist a lot when unwound.3) The reel hangs in the middle llike a dead weight.Overall its usefulness outweighs the negatives and it is amazingly light and compact for carrying around just in case. I often use it in meetings when everyone else has grabbed all the available patch cables.

Great if you dislike messy cables, especially when travelling
I love these. Good quality, they fast charge and sooth my OCD for messy cables, especially when travelling.

Compact Cat6
I work across multiple networks at various sites, which means I always need to carry a few Cat6 cables for troubleshooting and testing. Normally, they end up tangled and messy, but these retractable cables have been a game-changer!They retract smoothly into compact cassettes, keeping everything neat, organized, and completely tangle-free.

Useful in a pinch
Work exactly as described. Adequate length for what I use them for. Ideally they would be 1G however they are useful in a pinch to patch temporarily.

Great in a travel bag
Great. I bought it as a standby incase where ever i am has an ethernet connection aswell as wifi.Portable for the travel setup along with a bumbag, a fire stick 4k max, mission USB power cable, otg cable, 128gb USB stick 1 meter hdmi cable, female to female hdmi coupler, gl inet mt1300 (beryl) router and a power bank

Pointless Junk
Retraction spring is so weak you have to manually reel the last 10cm or so back onto the (surprisingly bulky) wheel.Literally the only reason to buy this over an equivalent 1m flat cat6 is to have something more convenient & compact, and it fails in both regards. Figured it was worth a punt but no, it's just rubbish.
