Before I bought this product, I realized that with some inexpensive parts, I could probably build this myself. I'm lazy and I decided to just by the washer and it works great. If you're lazy like me, then this washer is for you. Fill up the basin with water and cleaner and walk away, go have a hot dog, come back later and your keg/carboy is clean.

You NEED this keg and carboy washer!
Why didn’t I buy this sooner? The keg and carboy washer is amazing. It works flawlessly and it seems to be built well. After 2 broken backs, no more lifting of full 6.5 gallon carboys is darn appealing. It saves on water and cleaner too. Great investment!

Saves time and cleaner
A must-have if you use Corny kegs - it gets the valves, diptubes and poppits very clean without having to disassemble, though I still do disassemble after every couple of uses. Saves time with carboys too, though the tough gunk still needs the brush. Haven't used on buckets - no real point IMO.Pros:Get kegs & carboys clean with 1 gallon of solution instead of 5The pump did well with StarSan and powdered cleaners - mix powder in a separate bucket first for best resultsEasy to use and disassembleSturdy for being all plasticLarge basin for soaking equipmentIf you don't over fill the basin, StarSan rarely bubbles overCons:You need to supply tubing to clean kegs - I knew they didn't include disconnectsKeg cleaning adapter T would be nicer if it came with a cap so I could just leave it connectedCarboys may need moved around to ensure solution sprays evenly around themMy basin had a small hole in it that I didn't notice until I ran it inside - manufacturer defect, and Midwest was great with replacing - Kudos to Justin and the rest of the teamHighly recommended product. Keg & Carboy Washer
Very simple to operate, does it's job effectively. Instead of PPW, used Oxyclean with hot water. Cleans great, no residual buildup. Works equally well with kegs & carboys.

Make your own, don't buy this failure!
When I first received the Mark II I thought to myself, this is great! I can just put my keg or carboy on here and walk away... I was so wrong.First off, the pump physically broke down on me after using it maybe a dozen times. I contacted Mark, who answers his phone directly, and he told me a batch of pumps he received from a vendor were inferior and that he would send me a replacement impeller. He also mentioned that sometimes the impeller gets loose inside the pump, but this was not the case with mine.After repairing the pump, everything worked great for about 5 more cycles before it crapped out on my again. This time around the impeller is getting "loose" and has to be re-tightened EVERY TIME I use it. This is incredibly frustrating when you're trying to clean, rinse, and sanitize 6 kegs.I high recommend people look at instructions to build there own cleaner with a better quality aquarium pump. Building your own would probably resolve my final issue with the unit, which is that any cleaner product (PBW, starsan) that foams will overflow the bottom $80 plastic tray with foam and is a PITA to clean up.

Quick, Easy, cleaner than expected
Makes cleaning carboys, and buckets a breeze. I used to have to setup my sanitizing station in my bathtub to get enough water to clean my carboys and santize them. Now I can just set this little guy up with a gallon of water, and some One Step, works like a charm. No mess, and it after 1 minute the containers are all good for their next brew.Be careful with the buckets though, they will make a slight mess if you aren't careful. Still cleans them fine though. I use this for my carboys and my bottling bucket.

Must have for brewing!
I was on the fence for a while about dropping the money on this thing. If you are doing the same BUY IT NOW! My brew days are so much better now. Can clean and sanitize kegs fast now with no disassembly. Only thing I would change is maybe a few tabs to keep pump centered.
