VX-VEB160G1 Lite Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Copper Extender | Versa Technology

I build a lot of networks that require ethernet extenders to overcome the distance limitation of 100M. I find a lot of DSL extenders are limited to 100/100 due to the speed of their ethernet port. I was looking for something faster and these claim to do 220/110 in asymmetric mode. I've deployed 5 pairs of these (10 devices) in the field. I've tried a couple of different modes but not fully tested all combinations. Generally I see about 180/96 which is pretty good compared to the 100/100. I'd really like to see these be faster or support bonding multiple twisted pairs. But the product works perfectly exactly like they advertise and its the fastest setup I've found for extending ethernet. I tested this on 200-280M runs of 23awg CAT6 cable. This is the best one I've found so far for the price. Setup could be a little better in the sense that the instructions could explain why you might choose different modes of operation if you're not a DSL expert.
