I have been on a Keto diet since December 2018. I normally eat real food which I can prepare myself but over this time I have tried my share of prepared Keto type items also. Given the shelter in-home recommendations put forward in my state and due to my advanced age, it really was to my advantage to avoid trips to the grocery store which at any rate has been poorly stocked in my rural area. So I went on Amazon to find ways to get calories into the house. I came upon the Chocolate Peanut Butter Keto Bar and ordered a pack thinking it could serve as a substitute for some items I am running out of. One may have in mind a certain taste of what chocolate combined with peanut butter should taste like. These bars likely won't match what you have in mind. They are without doubt the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. Don't expect any sweetness but do expect a taste that tastes somehow a little spoiled. Don't get me wrong. The bars most certainly are not spoiled but somehow the ingredients have a taste that slightly mimic that, both my wife and I agree. Normally, I'd just have thrown them away and chocked this up as a lesson learned but I will be keeping them as who knows how long the shelter in place recommendation will last and I may need the calories. It is unsettled as to whether the bad taste will also act as an appetite suppressant which would be an advantage or whether it will immediately cause me to eat more of other food to kill the taste. Now having said all that, I do recognize that taste is subjective. You could possibly like these; who knows? But it is very unlikely to match what your preconceived notions of chocolate combined with peanut butter will taste like. Fair warning. Also note for those serious about Keto, each bar does run about 13 g of carbs which is about the equivalent of a slice of bread albeit the ingredients in this should be much better for you than processed wheat and the bars are certainly much better than bread if you measure net carbs instead of actual carbs in your calculations.

First and foremost, I want to preface this review with the fact that I'm not doing a 100% keto diet. However, I've looked at the research, and I do agree with the philosophy behind it, so I've been slowly incorporating it more into my diet.That being said, this is a great keto bar. I try to eat my own home cooked meals as much as possible, but sometimes, I just can't. For example, I attend several nerdy conventions throughout the year. I bought these to accompany meat sticks that I bought in order to help satiate any hunger that comes up while waiting in the 4+ hour long lines. I wanted to get something that isn't any of those sugar loaded bars they try to sell you at normal supermarkets, and I wanted to get one with the right macro contents, as well as being reviewed highly by people around the internet. This one came up.I bought the mint flavored one, and it's pretty darn good. Noticed around 3/4ths through the bar that my hunger went away already. Amazing stuff.I wasn't expecting the results to be this satisfying. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthier, cleaner option when needing a quick snack.

I wouldn’t have thought it possible to put chocolate, mint, and coconut into anything and have it not be delicious. This has an unpleasant and strange flavor and it feels that no amount of chewing is enough.I disliked the first one I ate, but gave it a second try. That was worse. So this was a waste for me. I refuse to finish the box, so that’s 8 wasted.Edit: I have upped my grade due to the excellent customer service. I received a no-fuss full refund. So buyers should know that if they’re not happy, they won’t be throwing their money away.

Clean ingredients! Gluten Free! Checked all the boxes for me and was a good snack . Strong peanut butter flavor . You can split it in half and be easily full . I would buy them again .
