These worked great for both our dog and cat on our 6000 cross country trip. Enough length so they could move around without moving to the front seat when attached to back headrests. If the passenger wanted a little cat love on the move we attached the cat to the front seat head rest. Easy to install and remove. Sturdy enough to use as a leash in a pinch. Highly recommend these.

This strap holds my 18-lb dog securely in the passenger seat of my car. It allows him to lie down or stand up to look out car window, yet keeps him from getting on my lap while I’m driving. The strap is adjustable and well-made. Also, you get two straps for a low price, which is nice if you have two dogs that you want to secure in a car. I’m very happy with this product.

The part that loops around the headrest is small, though the illustration lists it as 14-22". I drive a 2020 Corolla and I had to fully extend the loop for it to fit. Measure around the vehicle headrest you will be using before ordering! The leash length is adequate. I haven't driven yet with my 20 lb dog, but I think this product is adequate and will serve its purpose. I can imagine a large dog pulling the headrest off.

I have ten dogs and rescue dogs, so I never know when I'm going to have to run to the Vet. These Dog Seat Belts are perfect, because I can leave them in my car and have them kinda "on demand", and they will ensure that the dog who may be hurt and scared will stay in the second row passenger seat and not distract my driving, or try to get in my lap etc. possibly causing an accident!! I'm glad I found CG Boom on Amazon; I may get more for the third row!!😁

This review is for the restraint item as it connects to the car, and not for the attachment you choose to put on your dog. This product is easy to attach to the car and serves its purpose. However, use common sense and attach it to a harness on your dog instead of a neck collar. In case of a whiplash or an accident, you don't want that jerking force on your dog's neck. Purchase a good harness to pair with this. The diameter that attaches to the car seat headrest did not appear to be expandable to a large size so make sure you don't have a "too-large" headrest.

Second time I’ve gotten these (for our second car). I have a 106 lb dog and a 63 lb dog. These leashes are sturdy and long enough for them to hang their heads out the window, but fully adjustable if you want them shorter. I leave them in there all the time and they don’t get in the way of passengers. Best purchase I’ve made to protect the safety of my pets! Hooked to a harness so it acts like a seatbelt in case an accident happens.

I love the idea of this, but my dog was able to snap this apart which resulted in the buckle breaking. I was a super disappointed because these were exactly what I needed and wanted. I would encourage this for a dog that doesn’t get super excited and willing to pull against it.
