LOVE LOVE this cooker, not sure why so many had issues. 1000% recommend
I purchased this cooker in Jan. 2023 to replace the last micro cooker i had which cracked when I accidentally flung it across my kitchen during some refrigerator acrobatics. That said, I have had several similar rice cooker in the past, and have only had to replace them due to my own negligence.I don't understand how so many people had burned rice. I am guilty of not measuring, but using the finger measure method to measure water, but I always use the same cook time and temp.50% power for 20 minutes. If I am making a larger batch (like 8 cups cooked) I will bump time to 22 minutes. VENT OPEN while cooking. Then CLOSED to let steam for 5 minutes after cooking before fluffing.I have never had a bad batch of rice cooked this way. Worst case is maybe there was a little too much liquid, so it a little softer and wetter than preferred, or if I didn't put enough, it would be drier, but NOTHING like the images Ive seen here.

Great for small amounts of rice to be microwaved
Plastic design for microwave cooking of rice. Works very well and is functional for the intended purpose of microwaving white rice.

LOVE
The only way I can make rice I swear. I can do it in an instant pot but can’t afford that so this is a great affordable alternative. I will say the instructions didn’t work well for me. Took some time to figure out a better ratio for the perfect texture. I would give an example but everyone’s microwave varies so you really just gotta learn it over a couple uses.

Fire and burn hazard
Melted in the microwave. I've cooked my rice in the microwave for many years. Mine got lost in the move. Never had one melt beforeLike negative 5 stars

Nice
I have been using this cooker for some time now and cooking chicken for my dogs in the microwave. No problems at all with this cooker. Chicken cooks in 5-10 minutes and saves me time. Good value and I would buy it again.

not too happy with this
Cooking rice in this and it just didn't work well. I'm using it now to hold my lettuce in refrigerator.

Cooking is a science
Update: I have, through trial and error, found the best method for cooking rice in this product. The method offered in the instructions is to hard on the container and leads to leakage necessitating the cleaning of the microwave.1. One cup of rice2. Two cups of water3. A pinch of salt (optional)4. A drop of oil (optional)1100 watt microwave for 3-4 minutes.Remove from microwave, close vent knob, return to microwave and cook at 20% power maximum for 6 minutes. Let stand for at least 15 minutes to allow all water to be absorbed into rice.I cook rice in it primarily. It cooks Viola Chicken Alfredo & Fettuccine very well. Half the time of a stove top frying pan.
