Dialux Jewelry Polishing 6 Bars Jewelers Rouge Polish Jewelry and Metals

I have been polishing metals, stones, paint, even wood for a real long time, it's just something I like to do. This set of nicely boxed polishing sticks will allow you to work on a wide variety of surfaces. These seem to be nice and "creamy", there is plenty of oiliness, that helps not burn your surfaces. Read-up on what to use for different surfaces, and experiment too. These are really nice, I'd like to get some of their other polishes too. The boxes keep the sticks clean, and tell you what is what. This product works great, amazing actually, can’t imagine anything metal wouldn’t benefit from this, funny but there’s no way I could upload all pictures, I say funny because I’ve polished a gun chrome, the faucets in our house are way brighter than the day that they were installed. Take the time to copy the colors are for what chart and you to can stop replacing and start refacing.

For those interested, the weight of each bar is 4.2 oz or 123gm, length about 4 inches width 1-1/2 inches. Each bar will last a long long time for me, an amateur jewelry maker. I made a copper wire-wrapped pendant and oxidized it with Liver of Sulfur. Even after some healthy elbow grease with 0000 steel wool I was unable to bring out the shine in the copper. Using the green bar I used a dremel and a wool buffing pad on the copper and OMG! The shine is incredible. It makes the pendant look professional.I will use this product on all my jewelry from now on.

Nice range of polishes. I have only used the Rouge on my gold so far and it worked great! I know I am going to be using these on my silverware that is so old and tarnished that washing and using the dip solution doesn't get them real shiny. This will. I use a Dremel tool with a cotton tip, turn it on and rub some polish onto it, then go over the piece slowly and carefully. Finally, Ill just wash it off with some soap and warm water to get any polish that has clung to the metal.My gold looks better than it has since I bought it.I'm also going to use these on my guns that need some polishing to work smoother.Really, I can always find uses for these and there is so much that it's going to last a long, long time! Cleaning all my gold didn't make much of a dent in the Rouge.

The price was a great deal and the product made my silver and gold chain shine...Only wish it came with a chart on what each bar is for but you can find that on the internet so not that big of a problem.

I have not used any other of the major brands, so take this review with a grain of salt. They work great for me and I am experimenting with combinations for the different metals I'm using. There is a google chart that helps guide you in how to use them

Excellent quality Rouge set. It will take a while to learn what to use when and on what. Polished a silver ring and was impressed.

It will work if you put in a lot of elbow grease.
