Works well, and doesn't drip
I bought two of these to take to a farmers' market. I fill each with half and half and then lay them both on their sides in a small cooler. The results?* They don't drip. Despite being on their sides, and being jostled about during transportation, they are completely drip-free. I did make the mistake once of not completely tightening the lid one time. That was a mess, but completely my fault. Make sure the lid is closed all the way!* Even in the heat of summer, the half and half stayed cold for several hours. One note regarding clean-up: You will likely find that a little of the liquid collects in the spout. For effective clean-up, I recommend a small bottle brush for the tip. Otherwise, cleaning it is simple.I wouldn't hesitate to buy another of these. They've been working great for months now.

Restaurant quality
This is the same carafe used by my local diner with a self-serve coffee station and I couldn't be happier.Rugged construction, an easy to turn lid, a wide enough opening that makes cleanup a breeze- all here.It is narrow enough to fit in the fridge door and is about the same size as a half gallon milk container.Keeps dairy chilled for hours with its thermos-like build. The downside is the ergonomics of the handle. The more full (heavy) the container is, the less comfortable it is to grip and pour. Also, the silicone gasket can trap liquids. Not a problem if you remove it for cleaning, but it is very awkward to get back on the somewhat flimsy plastic topper.

Holds the beverage temp for hours
This looks like the type of carafe Starbucks uses to hold their half and half so we purchased this for a party to coordinate with our stainless and white thermal carafes. It's great! It easily held a one quart container of half and half and kept it cold throughout the party. At clean up time (5 hours later) the half and half was still cold!TIP: I always pre-chill or pre-warm containers with either ice cold or boiling hot water.

Useless! Milk gets trapped, spoils and there's nothing you can do.
I purchased four of these for my business and was very happy with them at first. However I quickly noticed that they were all starting to smell horrible, like spoiled dairy. When I would wash and dry them, liquid would seep out from what I assume is an internal seam at the top of the inner wall of the container. This purchase was a complete waste of money as I can no longer use these because they smell disgusting, and no matter how much bleach water I soak them in, the smell just won't go away.

I have been getting lots of questions about how long this will actually keep the creamer cold. I contacted the company (spoke to someone) and I was supposed to receive a call back with the answer. Yeah... not so much. (

Classy & Easy to Clean
The big green mermaid company that has us all addicted to their caffeinated fare uses the exact same model of carafe, and so I figured it would be solid for use at some of our nicer church functions. I was right, these things are great. They wash super easy (with a simple bottle brush), and they provide a classy presentation of your creamer or liquid offerings.

I find the lid difficult to screw on and off, so I will not be using it very often . Very disappointed that s simple lid should be so rough to use. Like an old light bulb in a cheap socket. I was looking for exactly this carafe, but accessibility is not user-friendly.

Somewhat Cumbersome to Use
Overall, this cream server has worked well for what we needed. We run a coffee shop at our church and needed something with a decent amount of volume. The cream stays well chilled in this insulated container. One drawback is that the lid on the top has to be at least halfway unscrewed for any cream to be able to pour out. It's also a little bit difficult to clean up because the cream likes to stick to the inside, but that is of no fault to the manufacturer of it. Buy a long handled brush for cleaning it and it will work fine. I'd buy another one if there was nothing better.
