First trip was a complete success
Seems very surdy. Ordered both this case and Brompton soft travel case. Yes this B&W hard case is bigger than regular checked luggage, yes it's awkward to pickup to hoist into car trunk or luggage rack in the train; and yes you can't roll it upright to pass through narrow spaces (like train aisles), and yes it can't be placed on the rear bike rack to cycle out of the airport! It was such a relief to travel with this case knowing the bike was completely protected. Rain wasn't a problem. And there's no disassembly or extra protection required whatsoever for the bike. I just folded it and slid into the case which includes some foam padding. I did remove the right pedal but don't think I needed to - and I didn't need any additional prep. Check-in for my two flights was a breeze although for one flight I was asked to take it to oversized luggage section (no additional fees). With this luggage, I am happily planning travel with my Brompton on all my upcoming trips.

Best Available to Fly With A Brompton
Light weight enough to be under 50 lbs and less than 62 linear inches. Purchased in 2018 and still going strong in 2024. Have flown dozens of domestic and international flights and used it enough to wear the wheels down. Call to B&W International customer support was answer the next day with a gracious offer to send me new wheel set. Suggest purchasers outfit brompton with a right removable pedal to allow bike to lay flat enough for the case to completely close without forcing it. Good luck! And have fun taking your Brompton on your adventures!

The design and material are very satisfied, but still have some problems.
Recently I bought this suitcase, the design and material are very satisfied. However, I ran into a problem: Even after I adjusted by Brompton seat to its lowest position, the case still wouldn't fit in my brompton. I had to remove the seat. This was quite a challenge for me, as my main purpose of buying it was to facilitate travel. Although it has a large capacity and can hold a folding bike, it is recommended to be slightly higher in height to have enough tolerance to suit the bike.

Perfect for my needs.
This is the perfect size for my motorized camera dolly. I needed a case to ship my equipment and it had to be at least 24" square, well this is perfect. It sturdy enough for my needs, the strap on top holds the cover along with the latches in place. Decent foam on the interior, and the extended handle helps move the case along when loaded. It's a bicycle case however there is definitely a need in other areas of life. It's perfect, and the price was right..

Dont worry about negative reviews if using for Brompton. Works as desired!
Not sure what the other reviews issues are but this has worked for our Bromptons just as we hoped. I say Bromptons because we have two. Have two cases. We have taken on several trips without issue. It does take some adjustments at first to get them in correctly but once I spent about 10 minutes trying different configurations it worked great. We have one Brompton with rear rack and one without. Both fit fine. More room to out other items in the bag without. Only thing that could be considered annoying is having to move the saddle full forward to fit is bag, but besides that it is great.

Arrived damaged, not impressed
I thought this would be the best option for my Brompton, but upon arrival the case came completely bent out of shape. Looks like it was delivered poorly — the box had holes, and the manufacturer didn’t put any protection around the luggage case.Knowing how badly checked luggage can get treated? I’m not taking my chances if it can’t survive delivery. I’ll be looking to source a different packing solution — the cardboard my brompton came in with some bubble wrap would probably protect the dang thing better.

It takes a bit of maneuvering, but it fit in the end! Very happy with the purchase.
I purchased the B&W International Bike Case in anticipation of moving from the UK to Japan. Admittedly, I'm a bit obsessed with my Brompton and wanted a case I could take on the plane that would survive the journey. I still have the original Brompton box and was open to using that to pack it up again, but the B&W seemed a good option. When it arrived, I struggled to get the bike to fit. I have a C Line with a back rack , Brompfiction titanium post, and a Brooks saddle. For the life of me, I just couldn't get it to fit. So, after numerous tries, I took it in to my local bike shop and asked if others had problems getting it to fit. We took the saddle off and it fit like a glove. It made it from London to Tokyo with no problem and I'm very happy with the product. You may need to pay more for oversized luggage, but it arrived in one piece and am happy with the resulting purchase.

Used for my Brompton Bike
First trip with the B&W with my bike. Was below 50lbs with the bike and we loaded it to 65lbs with extra stuff and managed to fly internationaly with the case with little problems. Would be nice to have 4 wheels but still worked great with two.
