I’m 67-years old and have tissue-paper thin skin on my shins. Before I found these, you could look at me hard, and my skin would turn this lovely shade of purple, tear and bleed! Granted, since wearing these…all the time…I still bump things and a purple spot might show up; BUT, the skin no longer tears or bleeds! After getting over myself, feeling weird wearing them all the time (especially with shorts), my skin and I are much happier.I would have given them 5 stars except they tend to fray at the top after the stitching breaks. Yes, it takes a while before the stitching breaks; but, I keep bottles of Fray Check on hand, so I can try to stop the fraying.Just a side note, after reading the reviews about pilling…yes, they do pill after wear, tear, and washing…BUT, believe it or not, gently using a disposable razor (while wearing) you can shave off the pilling.

I am an active senior citizen and always on the go. But I have as I have aged, thinning skin layer, which bruises easily. This productFeels great on my legs and I can wear all dat without pain or discomfort. I will need to do some research on this company to see what other products they offer that help to soothe the skin.

My doctor said shouldn’t use ones that don’t go around your toes because it will cause your toes to swell. Returned

I can’t say enough good about these !! They hug your legs and keep so warm!!!! I got them because my boots rub my skin on my shin andSocks just don’t help the problem! These solve the problem! I ordered more !!!

I hope these work to protect my shins that bruise very easily. They fit a little large for me. I am 5' and weigh 103 if that helps you choose. The fabric seems comfortable, but they are pretty warm when worn outside.
