Outstanding! Quality is superb
Just got this in the mail today, and pulled out my also-brand new spice grinder Aicok Electric Coffee Grinder Fast and Fine Fineness Coffee Blade Grinder with Removal Coffee Powder Bowl, Spice Grinder for Coffee Beans, Spices, Nut and Grains, 60g, 200W, Stainless Steel to give them a whirl in (pun intended). The cardamom ships in two 3.5 oz packs, as shown in the picture, which is honestly better than one 7-oz bag in terms of storage and maintaining freshness that I was expecting. I imagine that the origins of the cardamom vary, but the packages I received show it as being grown in Guatemala, which I thought was interesting. The seeds are intensely fragrant, even through the bag, and more so when I opened it. Running them through the grinder intensified the smell via the aromatic oils released more than I had imagined; it was one of the most pungent spices I've ever smelled. It's a mix of peppery, ginger, astringent and floral mixed together, if I had to describe it. I've only ever used ground cardamom, and it's clear that what I bought and used in the past was old and not worthy of use. I'm excited to add this to my coffee, oatmeal in the mornings and to savory soups and dishes as well. Reading the book "The Paleovedic Diet", by Akil Palanisamy, convinced me to incorporate even more spices into my diet, and even though cardamom isn't one of those specifically mentioned, doing a search shows that it has many of the same benefits of ginger, and then some.If you are considering a purchase of cardamom seeds, I'd absolutely recommend this product! You can't beat the combination of price and quality.

Does what it says on the tin.
Well, bag, but still it applies. Almost all spices are best whole as is Cardamom but the thing is that you will have to spend forever selling the things as the "pod" they come in has almost no flavor while the seed inside has... quite the punch. Making 5 or so servings of something with this spice is easy even with the whole pod but beyond that, it is just a tedious mess unless you can find them shelled like this though I do recommend transferring them into glass for freshness.

Seeds are good for many things!
First one I tried was a little stronger. Other than that, all good!!

Convenient Source for Fresh Ground Cardamom
A great compromise between more expensive and time consuming pods and less fragrant PR cardamom. Just throw them in a mortar or coffee grinder when you need it fresh. Watch out for escaped seeds though, we had a few minor holes in the bag when it arrived.

I found a piece of glass in this bag or cardamom!!!
I just cannot believe it. I took some cardamom to eat and bit down and hurt my tooth. When I spit it out, I was in disbelief that I had bit down on a piece of glass. DO NOT BUY! You are better off buying green cardamom that you have to peel yourself, especially not this brand. I am literally blown away.

Great souce of this rare spice
Unless you live in a large urban area, this spice is hard to find, and some times no then. Now it is available, fresh, and good in a few days from this company.

Very satisfied with this purchase
This cardamom smells wonderful and grinds very easily with a mortar and pestle. It looks like it's about the right size to also grind well in a pepper grinder. I would not grind it in my coffee mill, because it is very aromatic and I'm not sure that I would always want my coffee to taste of cardamom, though it might be nice on occasion.
