HP Pavillion 17.3 keyboard/touchpad replacement
The form factor of the replacement excellently matched my device. With a video I found, installing replacement was straightforward. The problem though is the touchpad does not work. The Device Manager recognizes the touchpad as a 12C HID Device but the Properties check states "The device returned an invalid HID descriptor" which despite uninstalling the driver and reinstalling, the problem persists.

top cover keyboard is working. however touchpad mouse is not working. I tried all options drivers from hp or widows are not working I2C HID device has issue. manufactures should sale the compatible top cover

Touch pad twice doesn't work
Completely dissapointed with this product. First time replaced and the TouchPad doesn't work. Put back the original and it works. Order another from warranty coverage and I have the same issue. Buyer beware.
