Q: Why are the directions on the conditioner the same as on the shampoo?

Beats me…but I’m 74 years old and this is just shampoo and conditioner and the directions for shampoo and conditioner haven’t changed at all in the last 50 years…this isn’t magic…shampoo your hair, rinse, apply conditioner and let conditioner set in place 3 to 5 minutes and rinse. I think you’re trying to make this harder than it actually is…you’re just washing your hair…there’s no magic and no miracles…just wash, rinse and then condition.

Q: Do you test on animals ?

I can't answer about testing on animals. But what I can tell you that what I've recieved was not what they advertise. The bottles were different size and looked completely different. The shampoo and conditioner were suppose to be purple, but it weren't. Hopefully this helps.

Smells great! There is another band that is better then this but so far this one is going great for my hair
