Universal Muffler 3" Inlet & 3" Outlet

After building a custom exhaust with a box of bends I didn’t have much room left to add components. 4.7 2UZ-FE 4Runner, I did the catless long tube tri y headers from Doug Thorley and the Y pipe. Paired that with mandrel bent 2.5 out to a black widow race venom muffler. Sounded like nascar in the power but had an awful drone at idle and around 2,000 rpm. The size of this resonator sold me on it. I installed it pre muffler to not lose the tuned sound my black widow and it’s absolutely perfect. Drone is entirely gone, idle is quieter and much deeper. In the power now the note of the exhaust is perfect.

All I got to say is I’m impressed with the performance of this piece my car sounds so aggressive when I’m ripping it down the street making all the Karen’s mad at me and threatening to call the police in my ass. But trust me you want a low aggressive sound get this highly recommended it and the welds are amazing.

I just added this to my 5.0 f150. I wanted to tweak the sound and take the edge off and this did just that. Less drone and maybe 15% less volume. Great construction too, this product is quality.

Did it's job. Got rid of the rasp sound and gave it a deep tone...would buy again
