A good book for coding related stuff. A really great book if you want to learn effective use of the programming language. Earlier I used to head to grammarchecker.io website for minor grammar mistakes but to be able to grasp the effective use of programming language you gotta read this book.

Book was received in a good form. Quality wise I need not say anything. Everybody knows how great the book is!. Anyone who wants to learn best practices in software engineering should read this book.

Es un libro de consulta para resolver cualquier problema que tenga el programador en la elaboración de programas complejos. Siempre surgen dudas sobre como realizar algunas tareas de diferente dificultad. Code Complete es un recurso de indudable utilidad, pues no solo orienta al programador sobre cómo solucionar determinado problema sino que señala cual es el contexto, la estructura general que subyace en la programación. Indudablemente es un libro que debe formar parte de la biblioteca de todo programador.

Après avoir appris un langage de programmation et pratiqué quelques années, je recommande chaudement de lire Code Complete. Ce livre a totalement changé la façon dont je programme, je fais maintenant beaucoup plus attention à la qualité du code, pour que le code soit facilement compréhensible. Avec comme résultat qu'il y a beaucoup moins de bugs dès le départ, et un code qui est maintenable à plus long terme, plus facile à modifier, etc.Ce livre est très complet sur les bonnes pratiques en programmation (pour la partie « construction »), et inclut également des chapitres sur les détails à petite échelle dans le code comme le nom des variables, le nom des fonctions, organiser une suite d'instructions, les bonnes pratiques pour les conditions et les boucles, etc etc. D'autres livres sur les bonnes pratiques en programmation ne vont pas aussi loin dans ces détails, pourtant c'est tout aussi important pour la compréhension du code et éviter des bugs.

Das Buch vermittelt in einer angenehmen Weise viele Methodologien der Softwareentwicklung. Auch beschäftigt es sich mit der Argumentation von heute wenig genutzten Designwerkzeugen wie UML. Hier lernt man nicht nur die Syntax irgendeiner Sprache auswendig sondern reichert wirklich sein Wissen in einem Bereich an, das auf nahezu jede Sprache anwendbar ist. Gerade im "Entwurfs"- und "Design"- Bereich des Buchs staunt man nicht schlecht, wenn der Author einem vorrechnet, welchen Schaden eine unzureichende Projektvorbereitung nach sich ziehen kann. Aber auch sonst wird hier absolutes spitzenwissen vermittelt.Nur zu empfehlen für fortgeschrittene Entwickler.
