I purchased years ago two cameras for the outside of my home, and both work amazing without any problems to this day. Quality is great and was no problem setting them up. Bought one a year later for the inside of my home, and after a year it's glitching out. Camera randomly disconnects itself from the network, or camera decides to reboot itself just out of the blue. And then when I do my monthly maintenance on them ( cleaning the lens, formatting the SD card), my indoor camera now won't complete the formatting of the SD card. So frustrating.

I originally bought a camera from this manufacturer. I actually bought two of them. One of them stopped working after about a year and a half. The other one still works flawlessly. The prices come down considerably. So I purchased a new one. The new one exceeded my expectations. It is by far better quality and easier to use with more features than the first. It seems flawlessly into my already established system. I will be ordering more of these to secure the property around the farm. Thank you for a wonderful product. In the future I might buy the extended warranty.

Good picture quality. Squeaks when I rotate it. I ordered a storage chip with the camera and it will not work. I've tried reformatting it in the unit and my computer. No luck. I really want that feature to work dang it! Can't record without a chip and I don't want to pay $10 a month. Sheesh! I have mixed feelings about this camera. I need 2 more that use rechargeable batteries. Trying to stick with cameras that use the Smart life app.

The only thing that is frustrating is the motion detection doesn’t detect animals or small movements. Which it does say in the description so no harm no foul. We keep it constantly recording and check it almost daily so it’s fine. Make sure to get the sd cards when you order cameras! We have 2 other Tuya cameras and love the app and the cameras!

This camera is useless. Installation is not easy. It took five tries to connect it with my wifi. Ones installed. The two cameras have two different menus. The worse part is the motion sensor keeps triggering even when nobody is around. I watched the videos, and there is not even a shadow that cross the cameras path to trigger a motion notification. The worst park is the motion tracking does not put the camera back to the original area. So, the camera ends up looking at a wall or ceiling. I don't use these anymore as security cameras.

I have two of these cameras and can monitor activity 24/7 with the SmartLife app. It takes a few tries to connect to my phone app through a common wifi antenna, but I eventually got it to work. Night vision is good with IR or lighted. Day vision is excellent. The light stays on at night, but you can change the default in settings so that the light is normally out unless you turn the light on with the app. The wifi connection is constant, even with a weaker wifi signal. The camera motion is a bit challenging to control with the app, but it can be mastered with some trial and error. The camera will not sit atop the base by itself, the base must be attached to something.

I was going to rate this camera a 4 simply because the first one I received wouldn't work on wifi so they had to send me a new one. Since then I've discovered it does not work with Alexa as advertised. I have tried everything to get Alexa to recognize the device to know avail. Alexa does recognize my smart switches on the same Smart Home app but cannot see the camera at all. While that was a little disappointing, I'm very aggravated to tell you that we recently had a hurricane come through here, coastal Mississippi, and all my other camera's came back online as soon as power was restored. This camera and apparently all the switches I have controlled by the Tuya Smart Life app have not come back online at all. The camera works very well for the price, but it does not restore itself automatically after a power failure. It's useless to check on your property after a power failure when you're not there personally to reset the device. I'll not be buying another of these devices simply because it doesn't automatically reconnect to the wifi once power is restored. I have been through the app several times and there's no way to "refresh" to have it go look for the devices. Very much useless if you're not there in person to reset the device.

Triggers notification on my phone. Also triggers spotlight and siren if enabled when it detects movement. With an SD card you have the option of not having to pay a cloud fee. When triggered the camera will capture 10 min scenes or you can set it to continuous recording. The SD card will overwrite when full. Great customer support. I reached out to them with an issue and they got back to me the next day and resolved it right away
