This rug is perfect for my boys’ bedroom redo. The color is just as pictured and goes great with their navy and grey color scheme. It is a lot softer than I expected and has a great amount of cushion to walk on. So far there’s been zero shedding and the shag is full!My only complaint is it slips around quite a bit on carpet, but that’s an easy enough fix with a rug gripper.It is true to size and a great price value for a rug!It came vacuumed sealed and folded so I was a little nervous about creases and roll ups, but after about 20 minutes of being laid flat every crease was gone and the corners have laid perfectly flat.

The 4x6 rug works for me. However, it's not real shag that you would have experienced from the 1970s. It's very slippery and feels like some sort of synthetic material. It's also not real thick. Since I replaced the carpet in my bedroom with tile, I asked the installer to save a remnant of the carpet padding which I used underneath the throw rug. It works great. Additionally, there is a strong chemical smell (like others mentioned). I placed the rug on the floor to check the size. It was down for about an hour and my entire lower level smelled of chemicals. I placed the rug outside for two days to get rid of the smell. Otherwise, I think it's a great little rug to place by the bed.

It's beautiful and soft, my granddaughters have slept on it. They liked it so much I ordered them one so they would have in their room.🥰

If I could give a ZERO STARS I would. This rug is trash! I received this rug and it was not rolled up but folded up. I moved all my living room furniture out and unfolded this rug. When I folded this rug there were many bald spots on the rug and the rug would not lay flat. This rug is a slip and fall hazard. The return process was ridiculous!!! They expect you to re-box and take to UPS center for refund. DO NOT BUY THIS RUG!!!

Update:The seller reached out to me and refunded me and asked me to give the rug another chance. So I accepted the refund and kept the rug. I ended up putting it underneath a playset where it is being held down and it's actually pretty good for that purpose. It's not really being walked on so no one can slip on it, only sit on it. It's thick and it helps to keep the playset from moving and the kids like the texture. The smell has mostly dissipated after a few weeks. I still feel that this rug is slippery and most likely dangerous for my children, but in the position I have it now I feel that I can use it safely. They really should not coat these with crazy chemicals because I feel like that's why it is slippery and why it smelled bad..Original:It's very beautiful colors and soft but it smelled awful when I opened the vacuum seal. If it wasn't made out of bad materials, it wouldn't smell like that so I hesitate to ever buy another one but I'll probably keep this one anyway. But even my cats don't want to step on it right now because it smells so bad they keep walking around it. Update. It hasn't even been 24 hours and I had the rug perfectly up against my bed and my kid. For whatever reason had to get up and come get in my bed. Follow me to the bathroom next thing. I know she somehow slid across the rug and smashed her face into the floor. I couldn't figure out why until I decided to walk on the rug myself and really feel it out and it is slippery. This rug is slippery. It's slippery slippery slippery. This is so dangerous. Danger danger danger. This to prevent falling and sleeping on my hard floor and instead it made it worse.

I caught this rug on sale and figured why not?Man, was I surprised! It’s beautiful and it feels like silk. I intended to put it my closet but it was so gorgeous I decided to add it to my daughter’s bedroom. She loves it! Sometimes I hang out in her room just to sit on it. I have never felt a rug so soft and luxurious. It came shrink wrapped but plumped right up out of the package and laid flat right away. Amazing value for the price!
