Performs as expected
I like the cover buddy! It’s useful and the pencil holder is a great feature! A little pricey and wish it had full coverage which I know isn’t possible. Overall glad I made the purchase. Convenient addition to my keyboard and not too heavy.

Doesn’t even connect to the Magic Keyboard.
I got this and was so happy to finally have something to both hold my pen AND protect my iPad in the Magic Keyboard but it wouldn’t connect no matter how many times I tried to connect it. It’s just not worth it for how expensive it is. Will be returning as soon as I can.

Updated: I love this! Detailed review of pros and cons
The media could not be loaded. It is sleek and super thin and light weight. It is just as described. I love it, it goes right into the Magic Keyboard and I can close it and the iPad still lays flush with the keyboard as if there were not anything extra on the iPad. One edge is not covered so it can do this, but when reading the product details I saw that and understood that is needed in order for it to be compatible. I have a white Magic Keyboard, and while this case doesn’t necessarily have the same textile feel as the Magic Keyboard, the pure white color goes perfectly and it all looks like it is meant to be. Color and feel, overall, look like it belongs with my Magic Keyboard. Some of the reviews here complain that it is very thin, that does not bother me, how else would it be compatible with the Magic Keyboard?I am getting another case, that will not be compatible with the Magic Keyboard, to use with my iPad when I do not plan on needing a keyboard so I can prop it up in one of those clamp holders or for a social gathering when I want to pass it around to share and take photos. I plan to use this case and another case interchangeably. Hopefully, with popping this case on and off it will hold up and not get out of shape over time and hopefully it won’t break when I repeatedly take the iPad in and out. If it does, I will change my review… again 😆I knocked one star because it is over priced. Considering it is not an actual Apple product (which I think Apple also over prices their accessories for their devices, so I like to buy accessories that are not by Apple to save some money) and because it is so thin and really just a thin piece of plastic, with very thin, soft material on the on the inside of the case to go up against the back of my iPad, I think it is very over priced. However, there are very few cases that are compatible with still being able to use my iPad with the Magic Keyboard, I would think Apple would make one, but they do not. That is why I bought this even though I think it is too expensive, simply there are limited choices (some even more expensive) and I really like this and I wanted it. It was $65, I got it on sale for $45, and I think even that is too much money. But I am keeping this! Also, already one side/edge, where it connects to the Magic Keyboard, does not have protection. There should be a lot of protection on the other 3 edges, maybe slightly thicker plastic and some kind of bumper on the corners. There are one or two other brands of cases that are also compatible, however, I bought this because and while there are other cases it is slim pickings, and this seemed the best deal. I thought this looks like the Apple Pencil will be flush with the iPad, and it is, but I have a cover for my Apple Pencil, and there is absolutely no way my pencil will fit with it’s cover, however, considering most cases have a slot for the Apple Pencil, which also do not have room for a cover on the Apple Pencil, AND, because there are so few cases compatible with the Magic Keyboard, so you can remove iPad and still have protective coverage with a case, I figure I can either forget the Apple pencil cover or just put it on and off when using the Apple Pencil.I originally gave this 1 star because the first case I got had a defect: that is shown in the video. I asked for a replacement (I had to return the one with the defect) and received the replacement very quickly! The video and these words are from my original review before I got the replacement:But one side is warped and bubbles out. The packaging was bumpy too, so maybe this is an isolated incident… if a replacement comes to me soon in perfect condition I will change my rating to a 4 or a 3. This is pricy for a thin piece of plastic if it is not perfect.

Not worth the $
Didn't even make it 6 months and cracked on its own. I've only taken it off once and it was broken way before that. Also it got bent around the side button when I tried to take it off. Made with thin flimsy plastic that will break and deform easily. Definitely not worth the $50 price tag!

Looks great and can take.a lickin
I was quite happy with this case. It seamingless integrates with Apple’s Magic keyboard, providing additional protection for the iPad, as well as the pencil.I was even more surprised that the the case helped protect my iPad when I mistakenly left it on my car roof. While I don’t suggest anyone do this, it was one of the reasons why my iPad survived without a scratch.Customer service folxs are really nice. Pleasantly surprised by the experience.

This vs. Pitaka magnetic case?
I tried the white model as this was the only color option available compatible with current 2021 model. It clamps to four ipad corners but no attachments along the sides and has slightly sharp bottom border (pitaka has attachments along sides and soft bottom edge). Opening for mic or speakers is off (similar to pitaka), but the charging port is open in an oval shape. This may set limits to what charging cable to use (not an issue in pitaka). The material feels like matted plastic with soft velvet material inside (a nice touch not present in the pitaka). My main issue with it is that it is difficult to access the volume buttons and the pencil housing feels fragile. The pencil housing allows room for pencil with protecting sleeve. Pitaka cover feels more premium from the back but sides are as flimsy. Pitaka has no pencil housing and it actually covers the pencil side making the pencil magnetic attachment slightly weaker in my opinion and you cannot use with pencil sleeve.Bottom line, both cases have points going for them. I really wish to have a case combines the good features in both. Pick what you like better!

Works Well
I was a little nervous ordering this because of some of the negative reviews combined with how pricey it is but I’m glad I did. It works perfectly with my magic keyboard and offers decent protection. It’s feels pretty sturdy to me as well. I have the iPad 12.9 pro 5th gen and it fits perfectly.
