Q: How is this sofa compared to the Marshmallow brand disney ones? Kind of don’t want to spend $90 if it’s not too much of a difference.

I have no experience with the marshmallow brand ones but I can tell you that this is the BEST investment I’ve ever made, as its washable, doesn’t lose its form, doesn’t fade, will last for YEARS. My niece has the cheaper brand and it’s faded, dirty, dented in the middle and she only had it for 3 years. My girl uses it all the time and I can see it lasting for years even after she poured a full container of orange juice on it the first day of getting it - it still looks new after washing n cleaning.

Q: Most similar seats have chocking hazard warnings. Why does this one not? What is different?

Have not seen anything on this sofa that would pose a problem. My grandson who is 20 months old loves it and has since he received at 11 months of age. My daughter-in-law who is very particular has never indicated a problem with the sofa.

Q: Would this work for a 12 month old

Yes, it gives them their own chair, it’s close to the floor, opens into a nap bed, soft but not obstructive to airway, the zoo print is pleasant & can teach the shapes of zoo animals. As they grow, they learn to open & close the nap bed & drag it where they want it. Very good value.

Q: Is this any better than the $40 dollar sofas? They are foam so I am trying to understand why price so much higher?

oh my god, I've debated this question often. The day I purchased it showed me that I was correct in my conclusion. It just have a better quality, better foam, washable cover, my 2 year old poured out a full container of juice on this cushion and I thought I was going to throw it away in the trash - but no, the cover came off and the juice just absorbed with the paper towels and it looked like new again! I couldn't believe it. DEFINITELY worth the price!!!
