I bought this for the beach and it works perfect. Not so much of sandproof but it definitely is waterproof. It's great and works well as a splash pad or as a way to help your blanket at the beach not get wet or sand on it. It is a perfect way to put in between the sand and the towel or blanket. Great product

I used this for the past few days and I absolutely love it! Anytime we got sand in the mat, we just lifted it up and sand slid right off and we were good as new!

I bought a few of these for the beach from different companies. This one was by far the best. It is a lightweight material but anchors nicely. The sand does not fall through like others but falls off even when wet. The ones that the sand "falls through " also traps the sand which creates more of a mess when you get to your bnb or car.This one also washed great and was air dried. The others did not wash great and left drink stains.This one was also easy to refold and actually fit in the bag without fighting and scrunching it in. A must have when kids are waiting on mom. My daughter also used this for sports away games when bleachers were not available.You can fit 2 adults with extra space for the beach or 6 kids with school work.We have also used this quite often for a year now with no tears.A great buy for the price.

Love it, except for windy days at the beach, the stakes don’t stay put very well, so I used 4 zip lock bags filled with sand to hold down the stakes better. I guess that’s my only problem with this mat, is I wish they had some kind of pockets of some sort to put sand in to hold it down better other wise this is a great mat for the price!

This is a must have for the beach. Easy clean up and great size.

Carry bag is very small and this is just a very light colored piece of plastic. The wind blows it all around unless you put weights on it or sand which kind of defeats the whole purpose. It is waterproof and doesn't get wet or get sand sticking to it.

Very big, easy to use and fold, makes being at the beach easy. Sand proof and water proof. Only thing it better to use with a towel or blanket on top of not will stick to your skin

This is lightweight and completely impervious to sand, water and dirt. Using corner tent stakes is a must if there is a breath of a breeze because it's super light (though not at all flimsy) and it blows away easily. With stakes, was very secure. Great purchase.
