Allow me to start this review off with a little back story. I have to admit I just turned 40 a few months ago and haven't worn make up of any kind since I was a teenager. The only products I have used through out the years has been lip balm. After watching a ton of make up related videos on various social media sites, it made me want to finally start experimenting with it again. I decided to start out easy and begin with lip products. Lately I've been struggling with extra dry skin including my lips due to dry air from it being winter. One of the things I've always hated about lip balm was that no matter what brand or style I've tried once it would wear off it left my lips feeling even drier than before applying it. I would then have to reapply the lip balm constantly to where it became this huge pain and not worth the hassle. I know I'm not the only one that experiences this with lip balm as I've seen many people complain about the same issue. It's almost as if something is added to the lip balm to purposely dry your lips out more so that you have to keep purchasing more. I saw a bunch of people say that they found a solution to this and that was to start using lip oils instead. They were all stating that lip oils leave your lips feeling super hydrated with out the drying effect when it wears off. I decided to take their advice and started searching for a lip oil to try. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on one since I wasn't sure if I would like it so I decided to give this product a try. I really wanted to try the strawberry flavor but the wait time for shipping was a lot longer than the peach flavor which was eligible for faster shipping through Prime so I settled for that one.First let me start with the packaging which I really liked. I like the square shape of the "tube" as it's easier store in a standing position as it's less likely to tip over like other lip oils or glosses that might be packaged in a round skinny tube. I like that the bottom part that contains the oil is clear so you can see the product inside. I also like that the lid as well as the font on the clear part are both peach so you can easily tell what flavor it is with out having to read it. The font and the peach symbol on it are simple and clean looking which makes it aesthetically pleasing to look at. The lid stays securely shut so there is no chance of leakage. As for the doe foot, I love how big and chunky it is. You get more than enough oil on it to apply to your lips with out having to dip it back in for more. It's the perfect shape for applying it to your lips with a slight bend in it, is super soft and feels nice on the lips during application. The only downside to it is that it doesn't easily slide out of the "tube" as one with a smaller and straighter doe foot would. Now to be clear, it's not the least bit difficult to remove it from the tube. It just requires you to be more careful about how you pull it out so you don't fling any of the oil off. Due to it's size, you do get a lot more oil than is needed for one application so I find myself scraping some off on the lip of the tube before applying. Also with the small size of the "tube" and the large size of the doe foot, you don't get much oil in it. I'm not sure how much you get with other products but it's definitely a lot less product that you get with average size lip glosses. Considering that you don't need to constantly reapply this oil, I do believe that it will still last a decent length of time.Now on to the flavor and scent of the lip oil. There is a slight taste to the oil and to be honest, I'm not sure if it tastes slightly peachy of if brain is tricking me into thinking that's what the taste is due to the scent. It's not the most pleasant taste though but it's also not horrible either. I'm sure most people won't be bothered at all by the taste. I just wish that it had a good peach flavor to it. Maybe it's just me but when I use a lip balm, I want it to be flavored to match the scent. I'm sure some people would prefer no flavor though. I would rather have a strong flavor that matches the scent in which you can definitely tell what it is. As for the peach scent, again I was a bit let down with it. I expected a scrumptious juicy peach scent but instead it's a very light scent which for the most part you can tell it's peach but if you didn't know what scent it was suppose to be, you might not be able to tell that's what it is. So that left me a bit disappointed since one of the things I was looking for when I started a search for my first lip oil was one that had a great scent and flavor. I am curious though to try the strawberry and see how that one is in the scent/flavor department.Now for how the product works. Considering that this is my very first lip oil I don't have any other kinds to compare this one to. I will say though that compared to lip balm, this product is a million times better. Everything I heard regarding how well lip oil works was completely true. Instantly after applying this oil your lips become super soft and hydrated. They also stay that way even after the product wears off. There's no drying out of the lips after it wears off and you don't feel like you need to constantly keep applying it. That alone makes this product an absolute winner in my book!While I'm not sure that I would purchase this product again, specifically in this scent, I would definitely give some of the other scents a try. For the price that I paid for this though, I'm definitely happy I purchased it and would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to try lip oils or that's interested in trying this brand.

I've tried so many lip oils and glosses and they are all sticky and gunky. I am still in shock at how much I love this one. I just got it in the mail tonight and I've already ordered a second one. GREAT stuff and for a good price. I LOVE that it's actually shiny too and looks so pretty. Highly recommend!!!

I was excited for these lip glosses oil but they are so watery and it gets inside your mouth bc of how watery it is. Gross. Save your coins. Ended up going into the trash.
