Financial Literacy Resource for Homeschooling
As a homeschooling parent, I'm always looking for resources that are both practical and engaging—and the Evan-Moor Financial Literacy Workbook checks all the boxes. I used this as part of our social studies and life skills curriculum, and it’s been a huge success. The workbook introduces real-world money concepts like budgeting, saving, banking, and understanding paychecks in a clear, age-appropriate way. The scenarios are realistic and easy for kids to relate to, which really helps the lessons stick. I also love how it encourages critical thinking and responsible decision-making, not just rote memorization. The layout is clean and easy to follow, with just the right amount of writing and problem-solving. It works well for independent study, but we've also used some of the pages as discussion starters during family learning time.Highly recommend this for any homeschool family looking to build practical life skills. It’s an excellent tool for preparing kids to be financially smart and confident!

Wish I had been taught this
This is just what I was looking for. It says 5th grade, but it would work for any student with a good grasp of math and reading. The illustrations are not overly cute, so they would not turn off older students.
