Very practical

I'd never used this type of incense set before, so I was curious about how it worked. The set came beautifully packaged and had a variety of scents and powders included with the well made, heavy brass burner, tamper and scoop. It absolutely would make a lovely gift, for sure! The only problem I had, was right out of the box.... there are no instructions included, on how to use all of the things in the box! (that's why I gave it four stars) Once I found some youtube videos tho, I was able to use all of the things in the kit to make some usable incense, and was really delighted! So, if whether you are already a fan of this type of incense, or are looking to learn, this set is wonderful. All you need is in the box, and the price is really reasonable! Give it a try!

this incense set included the tools and the powder. i found a black mat under the burner for coil incense. a gift for myself, love it!

Bought for my son and he loves it!

This is my first foray into powder incense. I’ve always liked the idea of them, like the act and ceremony not preparing and lighting them seemed like it would be really centering. I will say, it’s harder than it looks, so if you haven’t used them before, just know there’s kind of a learning curve. But that’s no fault of the product, that just the nature of the art I think. The set itself is very nice. Excellent build quality, and aesthetically beautiful. Highly recommend.

Incense didn’t burn well at all. Waste of time to go to all the trouble if setting up just to have bad incense. Would return if I could

This is a fun and relaxing incense holder/preparer. It comes with everything needed to create a lotus pattern, and it's almost like a zen garden when preparing it! I love it, and it smells amazing. It burns somewhat slow, which is good because I prefer slow burning incense. Afterward, it's easy to empty and store for later use.

While the product itself was lovely, two of the three incense varieties did not burn consistently. I didn't bother trying the third at that point.To explain: I tried a loose pack (with the lotus stencil provided) of the ground incense first and had to relight it four times, then with a tight packing of the other variety I had the same relighting issue. It's a shame because the scents were nice.It totally defeats the purpose of the product in my opinion.
