It’s OK
Ok first off this bow and the arrows it comes with are very cheap as expected for a 40$ bow and arrow combo can you go hunting with this NO can you compete with this NO can you have some fun in the back yard with your family YES this bow is not very accurate but it’s ok the arrows will break over time sense they are cheap I’ve use the arrows and bow for the last month or maybe a little less the bow is holding up good I’ve had a few arrows break and put fiber glass shards in my hand but that’s ok so In conclusion this bow is good for a beginner that doesn’t want to spend 100$+ on there first bow because there not sure they will like archery if you fit that description BUY THE BOW

Beginner pleased with this $40 purchase
I purchased a 30lb just for leisure/practice. I usually shop for items not made in asia, but decided i'd give this a try. The materials used seem of decent quality, the stitching on the leather(pleather?) is good, and structure of the bow seems to be legit. However, I'm no bow expert; hardly a novice even. This is my first ever recurve. Ive had 2 compounds, but never used them because I made puchases on a win not realized i was strong enough to pull em back. Compared to compound, this bow seems much lighter and easier to handle and pull. Since theres less going on with the frame, I feel like it will need less maintenance, and could last longer too. It was easy to put together. Im very small and stringing it was no issue; got the string on first try. Oh and the arrow heads are much too sharp for beginner practice. The arm guard fit nicely, with plenty of elastic band to go around my tiny arm. The only thing the package is missing is instructions or a video link to teach you how to use it, as well as how to use the other small items in the package. But theres plenty of youtube to rabbit hole down. :)

good starter bow for someone learning form needing a low draw weight
Solid starter bow with ambidextrous shelf, has some issues which are mostly easily corrected.Ordered this to help a female archer practice better form for traditional archery, these are my observations after a few weeks:-Ordered 20 lb limbs. The actual shipped limbs are a few lb weaker. Keep this in mind when ordering-Supplied string is about 1" shorter causing the default setup, even before twisting the string to push the brace height to 10.5 inches! I suggest buying a proper 56" AMO string-Since this bow is ambidextrous shelf is extremely thin, and supplied plastic arrow rests both break easily and cause your rest to sit rather high. Fixed this by cutting off about 1/3 of the plastic from the arrow rest back, otherwise it pushes nock point too high. Most of these issues could be easily corrected by the manufacturer (hence 3 star) but is also not terrible to correct for.If you order the 20lb limbs, get 700 or even 800 spine carbon arrows. the supplied fiberglass ones are absolutely terrible.

Not for actual use
The media could not be loaded. The riser warped as my nephew and his archery instructor watched. The class is held at an outdoor range, the students laid their bows on a table to collect their arrows. In the 5 minutes the bow was on the table they literally watched the bow start to curl up, even after the instructor unstructured the bow. The rise appeared to react to sunlight because it continued to warp without any tension.

So fun!
We got this because we really like the archery spot at the Renaissance Fair and wanted to still shoot arrows at home, but didn’t want to go all out and spend a bunch of money on a new hobby we might not really be into- ya know? But this really is fun! It works great for something to do in the backyard- when we have people over we all do it and it’s a blast, we’re even getting kind of good at it. My daughter is 12 and doesn’t like “play outside” anymore, but even she will go out and do this too. Totally worth it

good entry level option
wasn't sure if I wanted to get into archery - so purchased this inexpensive set. Purposely purchased a lower draw weight (25lb) for kids and the wife. Will probably upgrade in the future to something a bit more robust as I get further into this hobby. Overall a good choicePros: price, wide range of parts and accessoriesCons: like most offshore products, documentation could be improved
