I am an adult, I promise, and this is the funnest thing I own. I have absolutely NO musical talent but it’s been fun learning little basic songs. I had big dreams when I bought this Otamatone and thought maybe I could end up on YouTube or something but lemme tell you it’s not as easy as it looks. Probably not a great kids toy if you value your hearing and your peace. However if you don’t I think older kids would really enjoy it.

This thing is a lot harder to play than I thought it would be, but man it’s fun to play and torment your roommates with. Getting better at memorizing what the pitch increments are on the neck but it’s still pretty tricky. I’m sure if you’re used to playing fretless instruments it would probably come more naturally.

We put batteries in and could never get this item to work. Ended up ordering a different one.
